Fans have long been enamored with Jujutsu Kaisen characters, and now that the plot is set 68 years in the future in the sequel series Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, everyone is curious about who will appear.
In 2086, JJK Modulo follows Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu as they battle the Simurians, an extraterrestrial race. Gege Akutami wrote this crazy new chapter, and Yuji Iwasaki did the illustrations. The problem is that not all of the adored characters from the original series have yet to debut. People are chatting about the plot, even though several fan favorites are still missing.
There is still time for more characters to appear in the sequel, which merely began in September 2025. However, as of right now, JJK Modulo makes no mention of these five Jujutsu Kaisen characters, and their absence is rather obvious.
List of the Jujutsu Kaisen Characters
1. Atsuya Kusakabe

Kusakabe is one of those Jujutsu Kaisen characters who stepped up when it mattered. He's a grade 1 sorcerer and instructor at Tokyo Jujutsu High who mastered Simple Domain and New Shadow Style without having an innate cursed technique.
His biggest moment came when he fought Sukuna directly during the Shinjuku Showdown. He survived and became the Head of New Shadow Style, freeing his students from binding vows that drained their lifespans. After everything ended, Kusakabe told Yuji and Megumi not to feel guilty. But despite his survival and important role, these Jujutsu Kaisen characters like Kusakabe haven't been mentioned in JJK Modulo. His legacy should definitely come up 68 years later.
2. Inumaki Toge

Another significant omission is Toge Inumaki. He has consistently stood out among the Jujutsu Kaisen characters from Tokyo High's second-year class. His Cursed Speech ability is incredibly strong. Even if it strains his throat, he can make others obey his orders simply by speaking. He exclusively uses the ingredients for rice balls in informal conversation because of this.
When Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine exploded during the Shibuya Incident, Inumaki lost his left arm. But he continued to fight. During the last battle, he even taped himself shouting "Don't Move" to aid in paralyzing Sukuna. Following the conclusion of the story, Inumaki was spotted moving on with Yuta, Maki, and Panda. His survival has been verified, but what about his condition 68 years later? Complete mystery.
JJK Modulo has made no mention of him. And you would imagine that his legacy or descendants might surface, given how close he was to Yuta. At the very least, the sequel ought to acknowledge these Jujutsu Kaisen characters from the original second-year team.
3. Todo Aoi

It's impossible to forget Todo. His Boogie Woogie ability made him one of the series' most tactical fighters, and his demeanor is bigger than life. After inquiring about Yuji's ideal woman, he became best friends with him, and their relationship was one of the story's highlights. During the Shibuya Incident, Todo lost his left hand against Mahito, although he later recovered with a Vibraslap prosthetic that improved his ability to wield Boogie Woogie.
By the time the series ended, Todo was still alive. He survived the last raid on Sukuna, where he assisted. The JJK Modulo bonus chapter even mentions that Todo stayed in contact with Yuji and told him about a place called Kalyan's. The worst part, though, is that Jujutsu Headquarters doesn't know where Todo is, and he has a strained relationship with all other sorcerers save Yuji.
Thus, Todo is totally off the grid, whereas other Jujutsu Kaisen characters have obvious futures. Although he hasn't shown up or been mentioned in the main narrative, his existence in the JJK Modulo timeline has been verified. For supporters who cherished his relationship with Yuji, that is a hugely lost chance.
4. Oduol Miguel

Miguel is a Jujutsu Kaisen character who has deep connections to both Yuta's growth and Geto's background. Initially employed by Suguru Geto, he used the Black Rope to battle Gojo during the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons. Following Geto's loss, Miguel was recruited by Gojo and became Yuta's mentor while Yuta trained overseas in Africa. He even assisted Yuta in looking for more Black Rope, but they were never able to locate any.
Miguel joined Larue in fighting Sukuna at the Shinjuku Showdown. In the epilogue, he and Larue are shown hearing Maki chastise Yuta for not bringing them in sooner after he survived the combat. However, after that? Nothing. JJK Modulo has made no mention of Miguel. It's unexpected that he wasn't included, given his significance to the plot and his part in Yuta's life. The backstories of these Jujutsu Kaisen characters from Geto's previous group are intriguing, and Miguel's relationship with Yuta makes his departure all the more noticeable.
5. Kumiya Juzo

Yes, Juzo is a little character, but he stands out. He assisted Kenjaku's crew in breaking into the Goodwill Event as a curse user. Making cursed tools from corpses was Juzo's specialty, and he produced the Dragon-Bone, which Maki subsequently used. Talking about making people into "hanger racks" and even confronting Gojo before his limbs were crushed, he was completely insane.
Juzo was taken into custody and questioned following the invasion. We don't hear from him again after that. JJK Modulo hasn't mentioned him, and we have no idea what will happen to him. Even though he isn't as important as other Jujutsu Kaisen characters on this list, his craftsmanship with the cursed tool may be relevant in the future. He was also entertaining due to his uncontrolled energy. If his instruments are still in use decades later, or if he is still living, it would be interesting to know.
In conclusion
With just a few chapters completed, JJK Modulo is expected to operate for roughly six months. This implies that these Jujutsu Kaisen characters still have time to be named or make unexpected appearances. However, it is evident that they have not yet appeared. 68 years later, fans want to know what happened to the original characters and how their influence altered the globe. We'll hopefully learn more about Kusakabe, Inumaki, Todo, Miguel, and even Juzo as the plot progresses. Until then, one of the greatest mysteries of the sequel is their silence in JJK Modulo.
