Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity Episode 10 ends the anime with a ten-year time skip. The finale episode premiered on October 26, 2026, and is available through Hulu and Disney+. It has the title "Death & Strawberry" and unfolds after Yhwach's failure during Episode 9. It tells of the restoration of the Soul Society and how the Kurosaki family goes back to their usual life.

In this episode, a new generation of heroes arrives. However, before that, Kazui manages to neutralize the last vestiges of Yhwach's power using one hand. The finale ends with the promise that something more is coming.

Soul Society rebuilds after the war

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity Episode 10 starts with a poem and then rushes forward in time by ten years. Shunsui visits the grave of Ukitake. Gotei 13 is shown in a better form, and we see Iba commanding Squad 7 today. Isane is now in charge of Squad 4, with her sister Kiyone as her lieutenant, and Lisa is now also made a captain.

Mayuri has created Nemuri No. 8, a small version of Nemu and very loud. Kenpachi has trouble finding himself even today, but Ikkaku and Yumichika help him find his way. Rose and Kira work together to make music, and Shuhei has a good time with Kensei, Rangiku, and Toshiro.

In Muken, Aizen sits in peace and makes a concluding speech about something which can be interpreted as an answer to Yhwach’s last statement in regard to the world based on fear. Kazui reveals his Soul Reaper form, and Ichika watches this.

A full-circle farewell to Ichigo’s story

A montage plays over the original “Number One” theme. The animators redid the sequence where Rukia gave Ichigo his powers. Then, the couple reminisces about this night. The credits roll as the team announces who performed the characters in the series.

The final scene features the word “despair” promptly written in the dirt. The footprint marks it and adds the name of this run: The Stories of Brave. So far, there have been 416 episodes within 22 years. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War - The Calamity Episode 10 heralds more turns. Tite Kubo released his manga No Breaths From Hell in August 2021, which is set 2 years after the end of this run.
