The upcoming chapter has been titled “In the Middle of a Dream,” which indicates the much-awaited start of the match between Japan and England. Since Chapter 353 ended on a cliffhanger, Blue Lock Chapter 354 is expected to continue directly from the pitch with the lineups announced.

With the entry of Teddy Knight, who is being treated as a new weapon for England, the Japanese side is disturbed. Blue Lock Chapter 354 could revolve around how Ego reacts to the entry of Teddy Knight. It is presumed that the coach may prefer quick and agile players over purely powerful athletes due to the presence of Yukimia.

What really raised morale for the team wasn't just the strategies, but also Isagi's talk of unity. Blue Lock Chapter 354 may be interesting as it would be able to showcase how the players implement this idea into their first moves against the English.

Chapter 353, called "Super Dark Horse," has Teddy Knight as England's player on the World Eleven team who went past both Nanase and Raichi by making unpredictable dribbling moves and even labeled himself a "hollow puppet" rather than an egoist.

Reo and Isagi approach Teddy for a confrontation, in which Reo tried to overcome Teddy physically, but Teddy did that effortlessly. Isagi, then, read his movements and managed to take the ball away from him, which surprised Teddy, and the exchange between them kicked off.

Before departing, Teddy made all the Japanese players realize their doubts about Isagi being able to achieve anything without Blue Lock. His act of skepticism diverted the attention of the players, obliging Isagi to speak.

Isagi told the others that they weren't the favorites like England or Brazil. He reiterated that it was best not to have the talent of the favorites; instead, it was better to be the underdogs. The chapter ended with all of them coming together for the match against England.
