Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7 is almost here, and it appears that the show is finally prepared to reveal Asa's background based on all that was set up in episode 6. At the beginning of the episode, Yuru was a teenage hunter who lived in a remote mountain village. Soldiers with rifles and helicopters rushed in when the village's barrier collapsed. Yuru's beliefs quickly crumbled. It was found out that the girl he thought was his sister, Asa, was actually a fake, probably a daemon made by Granny Yamaha to prevent him from ever leaving. When the real Asa showed up leading the attack, she killed the fake without hesitation. When Yuru's blood came into contact with a jade pendant, two strong daemon guardians known as Left and Right were awakened, and they ultimately confirmed that the eyepatch-wearing girl was his real sister.

Things calmed down a bit in episodes 3 and 4. After leaving the village with Dera and Hana, Yuru experienced the modern world for the first time and began to realize that he couldn't completely trust anyone. He discovered that although Dera and Hana appeared to be good people, they were still involved in the village's fraud. In episode 4, Yuru sneaked out, followed a decoy, fell into Jin Kagemori's trap, and then totally turned the tables on him. He made Jin call Asa while holding him at machete point.

Yuru was inside Kagemori Manor by the fifth episode. Asa was not pleased with the sibling reunion that took place. She kept asking for a hug. But every time, Yuru shut it down. Asa told Yuru that their parents had flown to Okinawa but had never touched down. A group of unidentified attackers attacked the manor before Yuru could receive any meaningful answers. Their daemons were a pair of yin and yang, and their sole purpose was to either kill or capture the twins.

What Happened in Daemons of the Shadow Realm Episode 6

This episode was centered around the attack on the manor, and it did not let us down.

One of the yin-yang daemons dragged Right into a darkness void, trapping Asa along with him. In the blackness, her trauma and fear of the darkness started to come out. But Right was there for her and calmed her down. On the other hand, Left and Yuru were taken to a white space. Rather than freaking out, Yuru took that moment to practice shooting arrows at Right while adjusting his aim with the new bow he had acquired. It was a very Yuru act. He was already dialed in when they emerged.

Asa showed the true, terrible power of her Break ability. She has the ability to break a daemon's contract with its master, thus stealing it in the middle of a battle. She did exactly that with the yin-yang pair that attacked her, turning their own daemons against them. It makes only sense that so many people would want to control the twins because it is such a powerful technique.

Gabby had a moment too. One of the attackers made the mistake of calling daemons livestock, and she did not take it well. Her reaction was personal, almost raw, hinting that there is a lot more to her story than the show has revealed so far.

The one attacker who could have provided them with genuine answers was killed by the bald Kagemori member Akio, which was annoying but not intentional. The cliffhanger came next. Asa told Yuru that she had died once before. The episode cut right there, and a lot is expected of Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7 has a brief but informative teaser.

A young Yuru and his father are shown in a forest. Yuru seemed utterly afraid. He is obviously affected by whatever they are staring at or fleeing from. A shot of their mother sitting outside Asa's cage with Asa visible inside follows in Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7's preview. Asa was kept in the dark from a very young age, which is consistent with what we already know, but witnessing it unfold will have a different impact.

Then there is a strange object wrapped in white cloth. A creamier white cloth with a red hexagon and a red dot in the middle is on the side. It is not clear yet what this is, but its inclusion in the preview of Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7 implies that it is significant. Could be a seal. Or something far worse.

It appears as though Gabby is chasing something or attempting to get somewhere before it's too late because she is seen rushing about with an anxious expression in Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 7's preview. And then we see Asa. Her blindfold-covered eye is emitting a trail of red light.

Everything is connected by Yuru's narration. "I felt it penetrating every pore on my body, piercing my skin and stabbing directly into my flesh and organs," he claims.
