In Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3, Goku tells King Kai that Beerus is more powerful than anything he's faced. He wonders if he and Vegeta could defeat him in a fight. He also wonders whether training could help him attain the Super Saiyan God power Beerus had been talking about. King Kai informs him that Vegeta is already aware of what could happen.

On the cruise-ship, Vegeta reminisces about Beerus placing his foot on his father’s head when he was a child. Back then, he could not move because of Beerus’s power. Even now, he falls down again due to Beerus’s power. When Bulma arrives, he warns her to stay away. She does not listen to him and goes to greet Beerus and the rest of the guests.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3 has a good deal of partying. Beerus tries the various items on the table, and they all seem to be his favorite. Vegeta hopes that the atmosphere stays like this for a long time. Then a bingo game begins, and Bulma saves the biggest prize - the Dragon Balls - for last. A group of people led by Pilaf arrives at the scene with the message that their boat sank in the sea.

Soon enough, Beerus starts to feel it and wants to sleep. He talks about going home when Whis brings in pudding. Beerus wants this amazing dessert for himself, but Majin Buu says he bought all the cups and ate them. Beerus shouts in such a voice that Vegeta is taken aback by it.

Beerus proceeds to proclaim that Earth doesn’t have pudding or a Super Saiyan God, so it shouldn’t exist. Bulma grabs and shakes Beerus in frustration; while shaking her off, Beerus strikes her down. With that slap, the tone of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3 shifts to one of fighting.

Vegeta gets angry and transforms into Super Saiyan 2. He punches Beerus and then chases after him into the ocean, where he keeps punching him. He finishes by firing the Furious Galick Gun, which shakes the entire area.

When the smoke clears, Beerus is still unharmed and claims he exerted only a small percentage of his strength. He says Vegeta fought way better than any Saiyan on the Planet of King Kai.

Earth’s fate lands on Oolong

Beerus is about to create a gigantic sphere of energy and obliterate Earth when he suddenly stops, thinking about all of the delicious food he has yet to eat. And just like that, Bulma jumps in and tells him that there is more than enough food on Earth to entice him to wait a while. As it turns out, the last moments of Dragon Ball Super: Beerus Episode 3 come down to that change of mind made by Beerus.

Now his eyes fall upon Oolong, whom he thinks looks like the pudding thief. The pig denies being one, but Beerus offers a final bet; if Oolong wins in rock-paper-scissors, Beerus goes home, but if Beerus wins, he does fulfill his threat. It is here that the episode concludes.
