The pivotal encounter between the enigmatic Mimi Kagari and the main character, Sheena Totsuki, is featured in the first PV. We also see snippets of their everyday school lives with classmates Ali Maud and Lizzy Seiran. However, don't be fooled by the adorable character designs.

It is evident from the I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day anime trailer that the series takes place in a world where death is a constant threat. Right from the beginning, the music and conversation combine to create that gloomier mood.

Yasushi Tomoda is directing the animation, which is being handled by Studio Roll2. This is when the exciting part begins. The original director of In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Takudai Kakuchi, has since been promoted to the position of creative advisor. Before assuming the lead role, Tomoda served as assistant director. The deputy director position is now held by Nao Enomoto.

There is a lot of talent in the production of the I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day anime. If you've seen Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, Jukki Hanada is the screenwriter, and emotional stories are nothing new to him. Character designs are handled by Kyoko Yufu, who brings her Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles expertise to the table.

In the meantime, Michiru (Given) and Yukari Hashimoto (Toradora!) are working together to compose the soundtrack. There are also some powerful voices in the voice cast. Sheena Totsuki, a 14-year-old girl who despises violence and battle despite having been trained for it, is voiced by Rie Takahashi (Megumin from Isekai Quartet).

Mimi Kagari is brought to life by Rina Hidaka (Milim Nava from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) as the invincible secret weapon who, despite severe combat injuries, is impervious to death. Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa Ackerman from Attack on Titan) provides the voice of Ali Maud, while Asami Seto (Mai Sakurajima from Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend) portrays Lizzy Seiran, completing the primary cast of friends and classmates.

The just-made-public staff list is long. Prop designer Nana Nakayama, art director Junki Nakata from Kusanagi, and compositing director of photography Ting Zhen Xu from Cygames Pictures are among them. The director of sound is Jin Aketagawa. I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day anime is being produced by Infinite, with product support from EVOLROAR.

The narrative that won readers over

Fundamentally, the I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day anime is a tale about an orphanage that doubles as a training ground for magical child soldiers. The only thing Sheena wants is for the fighting to end. Then, one evening, she runs upon Mimi, a girl who is covered in blood but is still grinning. Since Mimi actually cannot die and can regenerate even after the most horrifying injuries, she is thought to be the school's greatest weapon.

Things quickly become tricky when the two move in together. The I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day anime examines how Sheena, who longs for peace, may coexist with someone who embraces death. Romance blossoms in the most improbable location as their relationship evolves against this backdrop of violence and war.
