Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 is out, and with that, we see the full extent of Itadori Yuji in this spin-off series. The best thing about his character is that he is not trying to steal the spotlight because he knows his time to shine has passed, and it is the next generation who will be taking over. This kind of awareness in the character makes him more respectful because if his presence is enough to take over this series, but this story is not about him anymore.
With that being said, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 also focused on Dabura almost understanding the fundamentals of cursed energy and technique by himself, and at the same time, there is a chance that the battle between Tsurugi and Maru might be ending. The chapter starts exactly at the point where the Piercing Blood Incident took place. One of the Simurians made an escape attempt as he tried to attack. This move ended up being a miserable failure, and the Simurian was knocked out by Yuji.

Yuji continues to reveal that no one has been killed; he has just used his powers to incapacitate both the humans and aliens to keep things equal. In Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20, Mino entered the scene, and Yuji did not hesitate to establish the power difference by slightly incapacitating him, too. At no point does Yuji want to kill anyone; he is just interested in making sure to de-escalate things as much as possible.
Right now, in the mind of Yuji, we get to know that he does not see himself as someone who matters. The concept of Itadori Yuji as a person is now irrelvant and he is just a tool to protect humanity. This moment in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 mirrors Gojo’s philosophy while surpassing it in execution. He even addresses Gojo internally, asking if it’s okay for him to step in “just this once,” reinforcing his role as the new embodiment of the strongest.
Dabura's reverse technique and the rising threat of Mahoraga

The Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 then shifts focus to Dabura, who continues his meteoric evolution. Having learned Reverse Cursed Technique on the fly, Dabura applies positive cursed energy into his technique, creating a terrifying reversal, which appears to be a black hole-like manifestation. He understands that he has only one opportunity to erase Mahoraga before adaptation occurs, sharply raising the stakes of the battle.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 ends on a cliffhanger

Despite Maru in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 giving his best, he does not stand a chance against Tsurugi, who is fused with Ra. More than anything, they end up summoning the Soul Split Katana from storage, a weapon infamous for bypassing durability and cutting directly through the soul. Just as the battle reaches a breaking point, a massive surge of cursed spirits erupts across Tokyo, fleeing in absolute terror.
Yuji used his technique to kill them all, but the death of these cursed spirits affects Maru a lot. In this very second, Tsurugi and Ra use it to their advantage, but unfortunately, they end up just giving a shallow cut. And then the timer runs out on Ra, and whatever Tsurugi has to do is all by himself.
In the final panel of this chapter, we see Tsurugi in incredible speed going towards Maru, and in the next panel, we see blood with the words "Goodbyes are in order." This is hinting towards something major. Either Maru or Tsurugi lost, and Gege Akutami, who is building on a plot that leads to the conclusion.
