According to the spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 starts by showing us the events that take place exactly after Yuji had gone on a rampage. We are shown Mino running towards him as she is stunned to see him in person, but that is when a Simurian jumps down from a building to land a lethal blow. Unfortunately for the Simurian, it was Yuji whom he was attacking. In a cold moment, we are shown that Yuji did not even take a look; he simply raises his hand and catches the axe mid-fall, completely unfazed. This moment in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 should be enough for power-scalers and fans to understand that this character is on a whole new level.

Then we are shown that this Simurian mocked Yuji to be some kind of an insect, which was a poor attempt at trying to estimate him, and soon he gets humbled. In this chapter, we are shown that Yuji throws one punch, and it lands as a Black Flash. The Simurian is sent ricocheting across buildings before crashing unconscious into rubble. There was no struggle nor any effort from Yuji; this move could be described as just domination.

“It Doesn’t Matter”: Yuji’s apathy becomes the chapter’s core theme

What follows is quieter, but far more unsettling. Yuji in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 turns his back on Mino and casually identifies him as the sorcerer from earlier. He clenches his fist, and a tiny burst of blood slices Mino’s cheek. Terrified and overwhelmed, Mino bows and begs forgiveness for the previous day. Yuji’s response is cold: “It doesn’t matter.” Bascially he goes to explain to Mino that his existence does not matter anymore.

He has made the decision to let Tsurugi and Yuka fight their battles, and he will ensure that the cleanup takes place seamlessly. But when Mino continued to add that she is not going to forget him, that one line proved that he is not going to be lonely because someone will remember him.

Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 focuses on Dabura versus Mahoraga. Dabura, facing Maharaga, starts to think on reverse cursed technique and takes it a step further. If negative energy multiplied becomes positive, what happens when that positive energy is poured into a cursed technique? The answer is cursed technique reversal, which Dabura unlocks on the spot.

A massive dark mass forms in his hand as he prepares to end the fight in one blow before Maharaga can adapt. This just goes to show why readers initially had seen him as one of the biggest threats towards humanity. Dabura in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 20 is also adapting and overcoming his weakness fast paced and for humanity to win, it seems like there has to be a miracle.

Interestingly, Gege Akutami has given readers an insight into the battle between Tsurugi and Maru. In his Ra-enhanced form, Tsurugi in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 unleashed overwhelming blows that tear through the battlefield. In a shocking moment, Sudugi pulls the Soul Split Katana from the shadows, clearly one of the stored cursed tools. Even Maru hesitates, sensing something deeply wrong.

Finally, we also have a massive tidal wave of cursed spirits migrating toward the battlefield. Yuji realizes the redirection failed. With calm precision, he points forward and says one word: “Dismantle.” With that, in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20, we see an attack that obliterates the incoming curses and detonates across the city, leaving behind twin, massive explosion clouds over Tokyo. The sheer scale rivals the destruction of Hollow Purple or Sukuna’s furnace.

Final thoughts on Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20

In the end, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 20 is an important installment, as there is a chance that one of the two major fights might be coming to an end. Meanwhile, it has also taken time to establish that Itadori Yuji is actively trying to take a step back and let the new generation take over. He would be supporting them while not taking the spotlight.
