My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6 doesn’t provide any action, but it does go through something far more devastating. A stray cat caught in the rain is what helps unlock Eraserhead's dormant memories. Koichi's simple act of kindness turns out to be a trip through time with teenage angst leading to tragedy.
The title of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6 is "Rain and Cloud," which marks the start of the School Days Arc. In this Episode we meet a younger Shota Aizawa struggling with his self-confidence, while his two closest friends (a loudmouth called Hizashi Yamada and a happy-go-lucky guy named Oboro Shirakumo) help him figure out where he belongs.
A Quiet Beginning Triggers Powerful Memories

In My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6, the story picks up in the present. Koichi Haimawari finds a lost cat in the rain, and this small kindness attracts Aizawa’s attention and sets the stage for an extended flashback sequence.
In the flashback, it is now Aizawa’s 2nd year at UA, and he has changed considerably since then. Like the other students at UA, doubt has also set in for Aizawa about the effectiveness of his Erasure ability.
The Trio That Would Change Everything

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6 introduces viewers to the dynamic between three crucial characters. Young Aizawa has major confidence and purpose issues; on the other hand, Present Mic, aka Hizashi Yamada, has lots of excitement and energy for their friendship. Lastly, Oboro Shirakumo, with his cloud manipulation quirk and positivity, steals every scene he is in.
Shirakumo's character is reminiscent of some classic characters. His personality and carefree attitude remind me of the legendary Sun Wukong, and he uses a staff while fighting just like him! Also, he is constantly taking his shirt off in class and using clouds to cover himself before pulling cats out of nowhere.
Midnight's Bold Fashion Statement in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6

Young Nemuri Kayama (also known as Midnight) appears in the flashbacks, and her original hero outfit is quite different from any of today's styles. Because her costume emphasizes the use of her quirk rather than traditional concepts of modesty, the costume itself doesn't leave much up to the imagination.
Because of this bold choice, more conservative guidelines for heroes' costumes were developed. Midnight ended up causing stricter rules regarding heroes' costumes, and her dedication to the look shows her brave and bold character traits from a young age.
Character Development Takes Center Stage
My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6 puts deep emotion above battles. Aizawa's inner conflict is handled really well. He still hasn't perfected using the cloth he binds his opponents with. His classmates aren't very nice to him about his negation quirk, feeling it's not quite as good as being able to attack.
Shirakumo is seen helping him understand that erasing a villain's quirk would be an amazing way to support him while fighting against them. This support will probably be something that Aizawa uses when he begins to teach others in the future.
The episode has plenty of heartwarming moments with animals, including Aizawa as a child who finds an abandoned cat but doesn't feel like he can help it. Later, Midnight tells Aizawa that she will not adopt the cat, even though it ends up going home with her. In the present, the cat is still with her, and she takes good care of it.
Noble Hero Purple Highness Makes His Entrance
At the end of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6, an amazing twist is revealed. Midnight has a new job as an intern for an established superhero called Noble Hero Purple Highness, who's really inspired by Prince, and Midnight's look is very much in keeping with her personality.
Aizawa and Shirakumo will be doing their internships now, so expect to see some really cool mentor/mentee relationships and how to work as a professional superhero.
The School Day Arc looks at friendship, loss, and finding purpose. Aizawa will grow from being unsure of himself as a kid to becoming a mature, confident pro once he completes multiple episodes of this journey.
