My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7 drops this Monday, continuing the heartbreaking School Days Arc that's rewriting what we know about Eraserhead. Shota Aizawa, aka Eraserhead, has had a lot of rain fall on him. And now more of his past is being revealed that we didn't know about.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7 will officially release on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. PT / 8:00 a.m. ET. This episode will strengthen the bond among Aizawa, Hizashi Yamada, and Oboro Shirakumo as they begin their internships with the Noble Hero Purple Highness.

If you're in the USA or anywhere else, Crunchyroll is the only place to stream My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7. The episode was available in Japanese with English subtitles as well as in English on the same day.

Manuel Aragon took over directing for Season 2 of the English dub from Zach Bolton (director for Season 1), using the simuldub format so that viewers can view both versions (Japanese and English) of the same episode at the same time.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7 will give a better view of how Aizawa, Midnight, and Shirakumo are going to be trained and whether or not it will change them. They have trained together as students at UA High School, but now they will be working with a real pro hero (Midnight). So there will be new challenges, including Aizawa's own insecurities about his Erasure Quirk when he sees more offensive types of fighting at the internship.

We also might see some battle scenes against real villains that will push the three young heroes to prove their new skills developed through their training as students up to this point.

Young heroes who are doing their internships are supposed to have real threats to deal with instead of just practicing against simulations. Thus, these types of experiences will shape their future heroism/crime-fighting styles.

What Happened in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 6?

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7 directly picks up from Episode 6 of 'Rain and Cloud' in which the School Days Arc is established on a strong emotional foundation when Koichi Haimawari helps a stray kitty during a massive downpour—causing Eraserhead to put together a very long memory of himself in high school.

As a young Shota Aizawa, he had very little confidence in his Erasure quirk and thought it was worth less than others with offensive capabilities. He had a loud, boisterous classmate (Hizashi Yamada) to cheer him up. Both of these characters share the beginnings of a strong, lifelong friendship that continues well into their respective careers as professional heroes (Present Mic and Eraserhead).

The episode introduced Oboro Shirakumo, the third member of their inseparable trio. His cloud manipulation quirk and sunny personality made him the group's emotional anchor. Whereas Young Midnight, then known as Nemuri Kayama, wore her controversial original costume. The outfit left almost nothing to imagination, prioritizing her quirk's functionality.

The episode ended with the three of them starting their internships together under Noble Hero Purple Highness, Aizawa, and Shirakumo. Thus, setting up the next episodes to focus on gaining professional heroic work experience.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 Episode 7 is getting closer to a terrible ending, and the audience will need to prepare for this emotionally. The School Days Arc will last a few episodes, potentially into Episode 8.
