ROLL2 will be responsible for the production of animation for I Want To Love You Till Your Dying Day. This project is directed by Takudai Kakuchi, who has had prior experience directing In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubak and Tokyo Autumn Session. Yasushi Tomoda will serve as the assistant director and will work with Takudai Kakuchi in furthering the creative vision.
The screenplay and series composition will be handled by the talented Jukki Hanada, known for his work on hit titles like Love Live! School Idol Project, Sound! Euphonium, etc. Character designer Kyoko Yufu is also contributing to this series based on her previous experience designing characters for Delicious Party♡Precure and Seirei Gensouki - Spirit Chronicle.

Then one day, Sheena finds this girl named Mimi covered in blood and smiling, even though everything around her is chaotic. Sheena becomes so fascinated by Mimi that the next day, when Mimi shows up in her class, there are all these rumors about how Mimi has achieved immortality and is now a secret weapon for the orphanage.
When Sheena's new roommate, Mimi, moves in, Sheena's way of thinking and Mimi's way of thinking cause some serious tension. Sheena wants to do things to prevent people from dying, while Mimi wants to enjoy life and not worry about dying until it happens. The emotional heart of I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day lies in the unlikelihood of the relationship that develops despite very trying times.
