The series has since been adopted into print form by Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint and is currently compiled in 15 volumes.In addition, there is a manga series illustrated by Yukino Amagai and published on Kadokawa's Young Ace Up website; 9 volumes of it have currently been compiled.What to Expect?This series has a team of people on the production end that fit perfectly into what this show needs. The director, Yūji Yanase, has directed other fantasy-based shows and has experience with light novels. The writer, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, has written many series across many different genres. Kazuko Tadano, the character designer, has designed characters for companies like TMS through her 45-year career.The Insipid Prince's Furtive Grab for the Throne became one of the standout light novel adaptations this summer.
