Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun: IruMafia Edition is a much darker, organized crime spin-off from the Manga where Sullivan runs a gang. Almost all of the comedy is found in Demon School! Iruma-kun has changed to an organized crime style of comedy, moving away from being a school-based comedy and transitioning to being a real dark comedy/manga: criminal underground vs. magical learning.NHK's announcement of the anime's premiere in January 2027 means that Iruma's transformation from (in his opinion) always a worried student to a strong, streetwise young man destined for the speck of the demonic underworld has occurred. This means that he no longer attends school and is taking the lessons he had from Demon School! Iruma's gang violence is much more serious than it was in the first part of the franchise, because Iruma is no longer receiving magical education from Demon School.Iruma, Opera, and Alice saving Urara (Image Source: Kodansha)Demon School has always been about fun and exploration.
