It is interesting to see how much this installment felt like an accurate depiction of reality and continued to show the brutal nature of the idol industry.

That is when we get a monologue by Ruby where she goes on to talk about how idols usually deny any confirmation of having a dating life to the public to try to protect their career. Which then leads to a feeling of dread taking over as she is worried about her work life. She is aware that there are going to be consequences, as one move that was done with a lack of judgment can not only ruin her but also have an impact on B-Komachi's reputation. In the middle of her having a freak-out session, we have a moment where the episode truly shines.

Aqua finds Akane, but he continues to maintain his distance

When Aqua finally finds her in Oshi no Ko Season 3 Episode 6, viewers might expect a dramatic rescue scene. Instead, Aqua holds back. He refuses to get involved because he believes he can’t half-commit to caring for her. In his mind, staying distant is safer than hurting her further. But Kana doesn’t need saving.

In one of the most emotionally raw moments of the season, she screams into the void and drags herself back up. She declares that something like this would not destroy her. Additionally, Kana continues to add that she never aimed to be universally loved anyway, so if people want to judge her, so be it.

In the final stretch of the episode, we see that Akane is investigating Aqua and Ruby's father. She even feels like she is more suitable as an investigator than an actress. But the final scene looks like it is the one being followed. While it seems like it is Aqua, we will have to wait for the next installation to get confirmation.
