This week's episode focused on the characters visiting the beach. That is when Ranma, Akane, and Shampoo got in the middle of a ridiculous situation. Turns out that Cologne revealed a love potion that would make someone fall in love with another person. While it has a temporary effect, there is a powerful version which would create a lasting effect.

Soon, the situation spiraled out of control when Ranma accidentally consumed this love potion and fell for Cologne instead of Shampoo. His behavior after that left everyone stunned. It turns out that Akane ended up being extremely jealous and frustrated because of his actions.

Everything became more complicated when the characters struggled to tell the potion versions apart. But thankfully, the effects soon wore off, and Akane was there to help prevent the situation from worsening. The episode ended with a comedic twist as the troublesome old martial artist now has an unexpected romantic problem of her own.
