Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4: The Lich falls, but the animus surge rises

In Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4, Fran and Master face what could be their hardest fight. The undead Lich dungeon master unleashes its knights and endless mana on them. Fran gets hurt, and Master breaks down. But there are still some good moves they pull off.

Some of the key scenes of Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4 consist of Jean’s first use of Netherlord’s staff, Stefan’s hit on the animus engine, and Master's ability stolen from the Lich. This leads to an interesting turn of events that brings new troubles in the last minutes.

Jean finally uses the Netherlord’s staff

The episode starts with the conclusion of the previous one. The Lich has released six skeleton knights, all with similar strength and power to one that nearly defeated the players previously. Jean raises the Netherlord's staff in defiance while everyone waits for the things to come.

In Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4, there is finally a payoff for a weapon that has been kept away from the action. The staff manages to cleanse the knights and other undead inside the room.

However, the Lich manages to dodge the purification, so the staff does not affect him at all. Despite the powerful effect made by Jean, he loses a considerable amount of life force.

Stefan destroys the animus engine

Fran keeps the Lich busy while Stefan targets his boss inside the boss room. The animus engine is what he has to destroy. Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4 gives viewers a scene of the time when Stefan leaves the animus engine behind him to blow up in style.

Stefan goes back to the other party members and helps fight the Lich. Since the Lich loses power, he does not succumb. Fran has been fighting for a long time, and his arrival comes just in time. Teamwork is everything in Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4.

Master steals a skill in Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4

Earlier in the fight, the Lich shows his skill list to scare Fran and Master. It backfires. Master studies the list and finds the seal that lets the Lich use space and time magic while blocking everyone else. In Reincarnated as a Sword Season 2 Episode 4, his bragging becomes his biggest mistake.

Master performs a perfect Skill Steal at the right moment to acquire the Lich's skills. Whatever purification Jean performs and Fran manages to attack finally reaches the Lich. Until this moment, everything used against the Lich failed, so this moment becomes crucial.

A wave of animus energy closes the episode
