SANDA Episode 10 totally threw down the gauntlet and shocked the world with its emotional punch in the gut. Kazushige Sanda makes out with Niko Kazao while class 10 children all have guns trained on Kazushige's crew. The newest instalment from Science SARU definitely showed that romance and violence are a strange but interesting mix.The coming-of-age ceremony is a battlefield where emotions have turned hotter than bullets flying around. Ono has now turned into an adult, which has created jealousy that now threatens everything that Fuyumura loves. The Black Santa hugging all of the children knocked them out cold, and Yagiuda takes the bullet for love. With only 2 episodes left of the season, this episode has definitely raised the stakes.Romantic Tensions Reach New HeightsNiko and Sanda's kiss (Image Source: Science SARU)This episode was a bit of a wild ride for fans of Niko Kazao, who snuck in Sanda's first kiss during the Coming-of-Age Ceremony. Sanda looked shocked at first, but then he gave Niko a passionate kiss in return. So, this is a huge win for Team Niko in this romantic subplot. At the same time, Fuyumura and Ono's relationship keeps crashing down. SANDA Episode 10 ended with Ono giving Fuyumura a very intense look that many fans were worried about. Her recent transition from a girl into a woman seems to have brought out some jealousy and possible evil in her.Yagiuda Emerges as the True Hero in SANDA Episode 10Saburo Yaguida gets shots by Namatame (Image Source: Science SARU)SANDA Episode 10 really showed everyone how great Saburo Yaguida is. Saburo was a bad guy, but then all of a sudden, he turned good, and he was helping Sanada when he needed it the most. He also went up against the big bad Namatame, and Yaguida actually stopped a bullet intended for Sanada during this fight. What a way to show your loyalty.Saburo is one of the most changed characters, from being the bad guy to the loyal friend and ally of Sanada. They went from not liking each other to being friends, and now both characters aren't afraid to say they are best friends.Black Santa's Unconventional Battle StrategyBlack Santa vs. Class 10 students (Image Source: Science SARU)Black Santa's arrival in SANDA Episode 10 added a surprising and funny element to the show. Instead of using force to subdue the Class 10 kids, Black Santa hugged them until they could no longer stay conscious. This contribution to the show's overall message is that love and connection can lead to transformation. While Black Santa's dramatic entrance (catching a bullet in his teeth) showed how powerful he is, it also made you wonder how he would deal with Namatame, as he posed a bigger challenge than the rest of the kids.Character Development and Growing TensionsThe characters' complexity showed impressive depth and was explored in SANDA Episode 10. Namatame's aggressive behaviour in the episode continued to develop as a result of the character's need for an adult who can provide guidance instead of simply confronting this character. The episode hints that her behaviour is the result of a response to being abandoned by adults and not being shown the proper love and care that an adult should give a child. Fuyumura's elegant appearance, featuring the traditional kimono and the braided hair, provided a stark visual contrast to the overall darker themes of the episode. The concern Fuyumura has for how Ono has changed created another layer of meaning within the overall narrative. With only two episodes remaining, SANDA Episode 10's developments created several storylines that will build up to a dramatic conclusion. The changes that have occurred within Ono's character are suspicious and likely to make her a key antagonist for the remaining two episodes. The fact that Ono has matured to adulthood while Fuyumura is still a child has created a painful emotional rift between them as former friends.
