And Ali-sensei is already awake (so much for that plan).

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 4 Episode 10 is poised to pick up the momentum left by a particularly tense and layered ninth episode. There’s a lot of tension with the reintroduction of Kiriwo and the entry of the Six Fingers’ newest member.

Asmodeus was very concerned about the encounter he just had with Kiriwo and is expected to protect Iruma throughout the next few episodes; Iruma may not understand why, but Asmodeus has too strong a protective nature to leave Iruma’s side. This dynamic could lead to some interesting tension between as well as a greater depth of emotion generated within their friendship.

Poro-chan's choice to ally with Baal poses many questions: What does 'seeing' the Demon King mean? Is it a vision, an event, or something else? That will be revealed as Baal's plan starts to become more complete. Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 4 Episode 10 is expected to contain an interesting combination of moments of bonding between characters and schemes from villains while still maintaining that signature tone balance the series is known for.

The episode opened with Kiriwo and Asmodeus facing off in the Magic Apparatus Battler clubroom. At first, it was unclear who the character Kiriwo is, since he was a non-playable character in the larger story and had not been established in prior episodes. Asmodeus was able to discern that Kiriwo was a former demon from his primal state through Balam.

The best moment of the episode was when Asmodeus stepped up to defend Iruma against Kiriwo, even after Kiriwo alluded to knowing Iruma better than his other friends did. Moments before the fight began, Clara arrived and frightened Kiriwo away.

On the other side, the high-stakes meeting between Baal and Amduscias, a.k.a. Poro-chan, was where it really picked up steam. Baal's first envoy, Toto, was easily overpowered by one of the Demon King's most trusted former companions. However, Baal played his card from the deck of calculating cards: an offer to Poro to see the long-missing Demon King, Derkila. That one offer was enough for the Six Fingers to gain a ferocious new ally.

Back in the warm territory, Iruma shared a miraculous piano duet of Lilith's Carpet with his grandfather Sullivan. Opera joined him with gaiety in the background. It was a quiet, tender moment piercing the thought of a well-deserved celebration after the pandemonium of the Music Festival.

The end of the episode included a huge surprise: Ali thought he couldn't wake up from his sleep until after Iruma reached D rank; well, that myth is now over with him waking up again in an actual human-sized body. Ali confirmed to an astonished Iruma that they remain as connected to each other as before, but tried running away at first when he found out he could actually leave his ring.
