Wind Breaker Chapter 210 has finally arrived, and it takes apart what was the emotional framework of the series. Titled "Fleeting Blossoms and Scattering Leaves," it establishes its overall tone by using a seasonal backdrop. Nii Satoru uses the seasonal imagery with precision, framing the Furin trio's fracture in quiet but devastating strokes.

Wind Breaker Chapter 210 brings closure to a major plot thread left by Chapter 209: What happened to Suo? And why did he choose to leave? Suo didn’t just disappear; he has decided to leave Furin. He has returned not to explain his actions, but to say goodbye to Nirei.

In Wind Breaker Chapter 210, we see Nirei come across Suo alone in a deserted area, and right away, there is this build of intensity and urgency as he runs up to Suo and screams at him. Nirei has not been able to contact Suo for three days, either via telephone or at his home address.

Nirei has wide eyes while he is running toward Suo and reaches out to grab Suo's arm as he yells at him about where in the world he has been. In response, Suo is very calm and responds that he is saying goodbye because he is quitting Furin High School and is leaving. His tone is flat, and it almost seems like he practiced his response. He is also smiling throughout his response.

Suo Tries to Make It Clean

Suo asks Nirei to tell the rest of the class. He can't talk to the entire class, but especially avoids talking to Sakura. He feels bad about the promise to leave something behind at Furin, but tells Nirei that everything is okay. Suo tells Nirei that he is ready to move on and train himself alone from now on.

Wind Breaker Chapter 210 makes the obvious clear without saying so. Suo did not come to explain. He came to shut a door, and Nirei was the least likely person to do it quietly for him.

Nirei's pushback reaches an emotional high point in this chapter when he brings up Suo's role as a supporter of Sakura, to call attention to Suo's reluctance to give him a good reason for pushing him away. Suo hears Nirei out before saying, "We aren't anything."

Following that, Suo comments about how irritating he finds Nirei's inquisitiveness, and he makes a reference to curiosity killing the cat. While his facial expression remains calm during all of this, the crack in Nirei's facial expression reveals the depth of his emotional pain.

In Wind Breaker Chapter 210, Suo is trying to get rid of Nirei. Suo uses his mask and the comments he made about Nirei to do this. What Suo was trying to do with Nirei was to paint the feeling of their relationship as nothing, and therefore make it clear how he feels about Nirei. He wants to show that he was playing a role that gives both of them zero benefit.

Nirei got pissed off at how bad Suo performed and bopped him in the face. Although Nirei didn't hit him where he was trying to, and Suo dodged the punch just like the last time, he could tell that Nirei had improved his strength. The compliment is heartfelt, without thought, and is a complete contradiction to everything Suo had just said to Nirei before he punched him, and was a moment of weakness on Suo's part.

Wind Breaker Chapter 210 ends with the two opposing each other under a street lamp, with the leaves moving in the wind, and Suo asks Nirei, very calmly and with a piercing gaze, if he will do anything to find out the truth.
