Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 9 is expected to dive deeper into what lies ahead for Will as he prepares for the second Bloom examination. With Cerridwen — the enigmatic witch who revealed herself at the end of Episode 8 — now stepping in as a mentor figure, both Will and Julius appear to be entering a critical phase of training.

The previous episode's preview hinted at a possible flashback, suggesting Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 9 could shed light on Will's past or perhaps uncover more about Cerridwen's history with him. There is a great deal of speculation regarding Will's feeling of familiarity when he met Cerridwen, and many fans are speculating about whether there is a deeper connection between them (possibly related to his sealed memories), beyond the fact that she is an annoying mentor.

Furthermore, Kreutz’s ambitions still loom, and now that he has revealed his intentions to test Will, he likely will not sit back while he gets stronger. Fans can expect further scheming from Kreutz, whether through the colorless factions or through other means, in Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 9.

After Kreutz undermined the opportunity created by Will’s great performance in the dungeon, he challenged Will to fight the lab-created monsters that were engineered to be immune to physical force. Kreutz claimed that anything that could not cast a spell had no place in the Tower. In the end, Will’s strikes produced no lasting damage; after multiple electric shocks overwhelmed him. Therefore, Kreutz’s justification for dismissing Will’s ability was that he was not worthy or legitimate.

Will refused to give up after being defeated and went to the library to read about magic. He eventually started training with Julius, who said he was only training Will for his own reasons, but put in an extraordinary amount of effort into training Will. Julius used ice-charged birds during training sessions to show Will how to store magical energy in his body instead of casting a spell. Will’s training was demanding both physically and on Julius as he would create multiple clones of himself when running for research on Wis. Despite these efforts, the ability of Wis remains largely unsupported.

In this episode, we learned about Julius's history, which has formed the basis for his cool demeanor. Julius had a crush on a maid growing up who ended up marrying someone else. Fans thought this revelation was a mixture of sentimentalism and absurdity. Will continues to be the person Julius hates most, but each episode shows that he is developing feelings for him. In this episode, three colorless mages attacked the pair, and Will stepped in to protect Julius–this gesture showed Julius just how much he cared for the proud noble.

The episode ended on an exciting note with the introduction of Cerridwen, a witch shrouded in mystery who had been observing the progress of the pair's training. Her graceful presence, her opposition to Kreutz, and Will's instant sense of familiarity made her one of the most intriguing new characters for Season 1 and had audiences excited about the next episode of Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 Episode 9.
