The Bold and the Beautiful's Hope Logan left Forrester Creations to join her aunt Katie's new company, Logan. On one hand, the launch of the fashion house has become the center of the growing feud between Brooke and Katie. On the other, Hope is keeping her move a secret from both her mother and her former employer until it is formally announced.

Currently, she is on an indefinite leave of absence while under contract with Logan. Alongside her half-brother, Deke Sharpe, she makes up the company's design team. Whether the move proves successful remains to be seen.

5 cues Hope’s defection is a good decision

1) Escaping the Forrester shadow

For years, fans have watched Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) endure humiliation, indifference, and a lack of respect at Forrester Creations. While the company has often favored family members over outsiders, her ongoing feud with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) affected much of her professional standing. With both co-CEOs, Steffy and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), showing little confidence in her, Hope's future there was increasingly uncertain.

With her move to Logan, where Katie Logan (Heather Tom) values her contributions and needs her expertise, Hope has an opportunity to take on a much larger role. While she may achieve her professional goals, she could also finally free herself from the control and influence she felt at her former workplace.

2) Creative and leadership freedom

As mentioned before, Hope's professional plans, from funding to design approval, depended on management at her former company. As such, she often found herself stuck in awkward situations, such as having her collection shelved or being forced to work with a former beau. However, at Logan, she can call the shots for her own line.

As Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) has emphasized, there is no funding issue for the collection. As such, she can design and plan as creatively as she wants. Moreover, she has her brother, Deke (Harrison Cone), working alongside her, adding to her comfort and ease on the job. Since he is new to the industry, Hope will naturally take the lead. With that, she will have the opportunity to explore her leadership skills without judgment from anyone else.

3) Family solidarity

As Katie made Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) agree that she would employ members of the Spencer family at Logan, she specifically had Hope in mind. Since Hope is now part of the Spencer family through her marriage to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), her upcoming professional journey alongside the rest of the family reflects a sense of unity.

Moreover, Katie is Hope's aunt. By joining her company, Hope is not only supporting a family member but also showing solidarity with a fashion house that carries the Logan name. In many ways, her move represents an investment in both her family's future and her own.

4) Redefining her career and partnerships

In the same vein as the previous arguments, Hope will have a new career path laid out for her at Logan. Not only will she be her own boss, but she will also be calling the shots and leading a team without interference. That marks a significant shift from having to report to Steffy and face constant criticism.

This will also be the first time that Hope is professionally working alongside her brother, Deke. The partnership gives her an opportunity to guide him through the cutthroat fashion world while helping him capitalize on his talent and establish a name for himself. Together, they could bring fresh energy to the runway.

5) Leveraging her identity

As fans know, Hope previously designed a collection called Hope for the Future. However, the rights remain with Forrester Creations. As a result, she has decided to name her first collection at Logan "Hope Logan," which is also her personal identity. If the line becomes a success, she will have both built and leveraged her own brand.

Moreover, her ties to both the Logan fashion house and the Forrester legacy could enhance her reputation. The collection may also benefit from the shared Logan name between her, Brooke, and Katie. In doing so, she could attract longtime supporters while continuing to build brand equity for herself.

5 arguments that Hope may repent her Logan move

1) Fallout with Brooke

As feared by both Hope and Katie, the eventual fallout with Brooke may become one of Hope's biggest regrets. By joining Logan, she is poised to hurt her mother on multiple levels. Hope knows that Brooke's career, dignity, and credibility are deeply tied to Forrester Creations. Moreover, Brooke helped provide the first stepping stone in her daughter's career there. As such, the move could be viewed as the ultimate betrayal.

Hope has also kept her plans hidden. She told Brooke about taking a long leave of absence but kept her contract with Logan a secret. When the truth finally comes out, Brooke will likely feel blindsided. The damage to their relationship could be difficult to repair.

2) Dreadful startup infrastructure

As fans know, Logan is a newly established fashion house that is just getting off the ground. While Eric provided the designs for its first collection, Hope is the company's first official designer. However, many key pieces of the business are still being built. That could become a major challenge for someone accustomed to working within the well-oiled machine of Forrester Creations.

She may miss the public relations support, global distribution channels, and organized production process that helped Hope for the Future become such a success. Without those resources in place, she could struggle to gain a foothold in the fashion world and establish the brand as a serious competitor.

3) Missing working around Eric and Zende

As the lead designer for Hope for the Future, Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) has been a key talent behind the collection. Although Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has also contributed to the design team, Zende consistently handled much of the design, procurement, and production work. Moreover, he and Hope developed a strong working relationship and made an effective team. At Logan, she will likely miss that camaraderie and the smooth workflow they shared.

Elsewhere, Eric Forrester (John McCook) served as an important mentor during her time at Forrester Creations. At her new company, Hope may miss having a seasoned designer to bounce ideas off of and seek guidance from when needed.

4) Swapping personal rivalry with corporate war

As longtime viewers know, Hope shares a long-standing rivalry with Steffy. While Steffy enjoys a management position and corporate freedom, Hope has spent years navigating a more restrictive environment. However, when her line, Hope for the Future, was shelved so resources could be redirected toward a new couture collection, she could no longer accept the setback to her career. In defiance, she secretly joined Logan.

However, Hope may have stepped into a much bigger battle than she anticipated. Not only is the new company challenging its former rival, but it has already created significant tension between Brooke and Katie. In that environment, Hope's move will likely be viewed as a betrayal, adding even more fuel to an already escalating corporate war.

5) Numerous legal drama

So far, Hope has submitted a leave of absence while signing a contract with Logan, planning to keep the arrangement secret for a while. On one hand, taking a leave instead of formally resigning may hint at uncertainty about leaving her longtime employer. On the other, she is effectively tied to two companies at once, which could create complications once the truth comes out.

At the same time, Bill is looking to secretly acquire the HFTF diamond and showcase it during a runway event for the new fashion house. There could be legal implications here as well, since Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) originally gifted the diamond to Hope during their marriage. However, it is currently on loan to Forrester Creations, making the company its legal holder. Removing it from their control could raise serious questions. As such, Hope may eventually regret becoming part of a much larger mess.
