The Bold and the Beautiful is currently going through a great deal of volatility when it comes to relationships and loyalties. With allegiances being tested across the canvas, characters are being forced to choose sides, such as Hope aligning herself with her husband's family over her mother. That same conflict is likely to spill over into several romantic relationships as well. As a result, some marriages could fall apart while unexpected new pairings begin to emerge.

While the recent romantic complications involving Taylor, Deacon, and Sheila, as well as Will, Electra, R.J., and Dylan, appear to have reached temporary resolutions, those stories may be far from over. Together, they offered that Shauna would handle the jewelry design department at Logan. However, her presence made Wyatt's family uncomfortable since he declared that he had ended his romance with Shauna's daughter, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden). As such, there is no obvious reason for Wyatt to be traveling with his former mother-in-law.

However, as some fans have wondered, if Wyatt is in a secret romantic relationship with Shauna, things are likely to turn messy when their affair is exposed. The two seemed to bond over their disappointment at not getting the people they wanted. While R.J. tried his best to woo Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace), he failed miserably when Electra moved in with her boyfriend, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). At the same time, Dylan has continued to hide her romantic feelings for Will in order to support her friend Electra's relationship.

While R.J. forced Dylan to admit her feelings for Will, he also expressed his frustration over Electra choosing Will, even after he got his rival fired from the company. On the other hand, R.J. invited Dylan to a swim session at his new beach house and even appeared to suggest taking things to a more intimate level, shocking B&B fans. R.J. and Dylan's romance may be far from innocent and could ultimately be part of a more calculated move by the Forrester heir. How it impacts Will and Electra remains to be seen.

While Ivy and Thomas briefly had an affair after Ivy cheated on Wyatt in 2015, the two have had little romantic interaction since then. However, with both currently single, they may decide to revisit the connection they shared a decade ago when Ivy eventually returns. Incidentally, despite sharing the Forrester name, Thomas is Ridge's son and part of the Marone bloodline, making the pairing far less complicated than it may initially appear.
