5 Ways B&B's Bill can take down Ridge (and 5 ways the Forrester scion may retaliate)

The war between The Bold and the Beautiful's Forresters and the Spencersis heating up at multi levels. On one hand, the success of Logan, including the theatrics around the HFTF diamond caused Brooke unbearable heartbreak. While Steffy went into fire-fighting mode, Electra walked out on Will following the latter’s attack on R.J.

After asking Electra to breakup with Will, Ridge walked into Bill’s office to chastise his rival. Threatening to do something Will physically assaulting R.J., Ridge lost his own temper at being ridiculed by Bill. He proceeded to punch his rival in the face, which surprisingly delighted his victim. Bill, later, gloated to Will about goading Ridge into losing control. Meanwhile, Bill wants one up on his rival, Ridge, by scheming to derail the Forrester supremacy.

5 Methods Bill May Employ to Ruin His Opponent

1) Leverage security footage for criminal charges

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walked into Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office to talk straight. As they picked a fight, Bill responded to Ridge’s accusations and threats with ridicule. A riled-up Ridge hit Bill. However, instead of feeling cornered, Bill seemed to enjoy the episode.

It is likely that Bill has a security camera in his office and has recorded Ridge’s actions. If so, he may produce the same to charge Ridge with willful battery. He may call the police on Ridge causing legal problems for his rival.

2) Help Will accuse R.J. of trespassing

R.J. Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti) was on Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) property trying to get Electra (Laneya Grace) to leave her boyfriend again. That is when Will punched his nemesis, forcing Electra to move out of Will's house. While Will is contrite about losing Electra, Bill has treated the matter with indifference.

If Bill wants his revenge plan on the Forresters to move another notch up, he may suggest Will file charges against R.J. for trespassing. Since Ridge threatened to bring an assault case against Will, the Spencer father can move to prove that the assault happened on Will’s property where the young Forrester was present uninvited.

If Bill has the security footage of Ridge hitting him in his office, instead of calling in the law enforcers, the media tycoon may consider releasing the footage to the media. This will likely help him defame Ridge and destroy his reputation.

Along with Ridge, Bill may call out R.J.’s position also in front of media calling them hypocrites. The Spencer giant may point out how Will was fired for hitting the junior Forrester while Ridge hit Bill. Since the Forrester family is in fashion business and heavily dependent on the media image, this may turn out to be a big blow for them.

4) Use Spencer Publications to ruin Eric’s upcoming show

Bill could use his own resources to ruin the Forresters. Besides exposing Ridge’s hypocrisy to the media, Bill may consider attacking the Forrester business from another angle.

Since Bill knows that their Logan show, revealing Hope’s designs and the HFTF diamond, made a direct impact on Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) upcoming couture show, Bill may want to capitalize on this situation. Being the owner of Spencer Publications, Bill can use his own media house to change the narrative on Eric’s designs. If he guides public sentiments away from Eric’s show, he will likely influence the outcome of the next FC fashion show.

Bill is aware of the tension between his wife, Katie (Heather Tom) and her Forrester sister, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). To add to the heated atmosphere, Hope's (Annika Noelle) defection has caused more stress. Hope did not receive any support or praise from her mother.

However, Hope’s father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) was proud of his daughter’s achievement. As such, Bill may ask Deacon’s assistance to help boost Hope’s morale. Bill may also learn about Remy (Christian Weissmann), and want to use his expertise in disguise to spy in Forrester Creations. Whether he considers using B&B's Dylan (Sydney Bullock) as the mole in FC remains to be seen.

5 Steps Ridge May Take to Pushback Bill on B&B

As B&B viewers are aware, Hope signed her contract with Logan while being officially under contract with Forrester Creations. She took a long leave of absence from FC to keep her defection a secret. When she walked the runway for Logan and was revealed to be the creative director of Katie’s new fashion house, she was legally still under contract with FC.

Since Bill signed Hope in for Logan, Ridge may drag Bill to the court for poaching his employee. He may also take Hope to court for breach of contract, thus destabilizing Logan’s newly-appointed design team.

2) Bring charges for legal injunction on Logan

If Ridge sues Hope and Bill for breach of contract and poaching employees, he may take a step further. Ridge could also claim that the launch designs for Logan, created by Eric, were stolen designs, as he has been claiming.

Although Eric had offered to help Katie and Bill had paid for the designs, Eric back-tracked when he reconciled with Ridge. However, Ridge may force Eric to agree with his claims of stolen designs. If Ridge can prove his claims, he may bring an injunction against Logan and bar the company from doing business in the market.

3) Hire insiders to fool the Spencer corporate camp

Ridge may consider playing a sneaky game by planting a mole inside the Spencer camp. He may make a pact with Zende Forrester (Delon De Metz) to pretend to be a double agent.

In a similar move, Ridge may employ Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears), who was once a Bill Spencer loyalist. Since Justin had once felt unappreciated and turned on Bill in the past, Ridge may try to weaponize similar sentiments and get the Spencer insider into his camp.

4) Use market connections to blacklist Logan

Ridge may use the Forrester PR to smear Logan’s reputation. As B&B fans know, FC has been a part of the fashion industry for much longer. Eric has been a stalwart in the field who is respected by all. As such, if Bill tries to taint Eric’s reputation, it may backfire.

Ridge may use his connections and market network to get Logan blacklisted. A bad PR from a reputed house like FC will likely make the consumers wary of Katie’s new company. If Ridge forces suppliers, boutiques. and buyers to choose between Logan and FC, the latter will likely win. This may cost Dollar Bill much revenue.

5) Reopen charges against Bill for aiding criminals

Ridge may feel desperate to take down Bill if the latter corners him. As such, Ridge may think of reopening or bringing in old cases of criminality against his nemesis. In the past, Bill aided in freeing the thrice murderer Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) from the prison. Luna followed this up by terrorizing Ridge’s daughter, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and her family multiple times.

While Luna tried to blackmail Bill and Will with her pregnancy, there is no denying the fact that Bill had a big role to play in Luna’s evil run. In the past Bill had blackmailed Eric about employing an illegal immigrant and later, blackmailed Steffy about hurting Taylor to keep her quiet in the Sheila protection storyline. Ridge may consider raking all these up to spoil Bill’s reputation.
