B&B Recap August 10: Sheila's Dreams Came True...In Her Mind

On the Monday, August 10, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila had some big expectations for her time in Monaco, while RJ had a big idea during his time in L.A.

In Eric's office, RJ sketched designs in Eric's office while praising Electra and her talent. Electra even joined in on the sketching as they realized they had so much in common. When RJ's latest gown arrived, he couldn't wait for Electra to try it on.

In their Monaco hotel room, Ridge lamented that all anyone could talk about at the business meetings was Logan. Everyone just kept asking questions about Logan vs. Forrester. Steffy insisted they had to do more damage control and steer any meeting in a more positive direction. Steffy changed the subject from business to her personal life and the time she planned to spend with Finn.

When the trio welcomed a reporter, they were frustrated as he asked about Hope for the Future and whether Forrester would launch a new line targeting the same demo. Ridge didn't like that the reporter only wanted to talk about the Logan-Spencer-Forrester feud.

When the reporter left, Steffy, Ridge, and Brooke realized they needed to do something about the loss of Hope's line. Steffy just wanted to make sure they weren't associated with Logan at all. "We have to get them talking. Start a new line. Something that's gonna wow," Steffy said.

A New Hope

Just then, RJ called and learned that the company might need a new line. When Electra walked in, he had an idea and hung up on Ridge. "Beautiful," he said. Electra agreed that the dress was stunning. "I wasn't talking about the dress, sweetheart," he said, in a completely sexist way.

Electra felt like the gown was designed just for her and realized that it was. RJ then shocked Electra and suggested that she be the face of FC's new youth line. Electra thought the idea sounded absurd, but RJ made it seem appealing. Electra could even try her hand at fashion design. Electra said she would at least consider it.

Back in Monaco, Steffy and Brooke were surprised to hear that RJ had a new idea, but Steffy couldn't think about that for long because her mind was on Finn. "We're going to meet at a place where our lives together had a second chance," she said wistfully. "Tomorrow is the anniversary, so we're going to meet there, same time, same place."

Sheila's Dream Come True?

On the plane, Sheila enjoyed her first-class meal and drinks as Finn chastised her for being on the plane in the first place. He still couldn't believe that she was on her way to Monaco with him. Sheila was happy as could be. This trip would give them a chance to chat and catch up. They could even watch a mother-son road trip movie together.

Finn tried to get Sheila to see how important this trip was to Steffy and Forrester Creations. Sheila couldn't do anything to interfere with that. Finn also reminded Sheila that he was meeting Steffy at the cathedral, which was only their special place because Sheila had shot both Finn and Steffy and left them for dead.

"I am hoping that Monaco delivers another miracle," Sheila said, as Finn could only shake his head in disbelief.

Finn marveled that Sheila never gave up and told her she was headed for more disappointment. "That's the story of my life the last few months. Heartbreak and disappointment," she said. Finn noted that Taylor and Deacon's behavior had certainly surprised them. Sheila pointed out that the old Sheila would have lost it, but she didn't do that. Still, she wanted a chance with Finn and Hayes.

Finn decided to be blunt. "Steffy will never accept you," he said. Sheila sighed that she understood, but that didn't stop her from begging some more. She suggested that Finn just take a stand with Steffy. All she wanted was some holiday and birthday visits. "I'm just going to keep on hoping that Monaco does deliver another miracle," she asserted.

Sheila even fantasized about spending Mother's Day with Finn and Steffy. "Steffy invited me into your lives and into your family with open arms," Sheila said. "I won't give up. I truly believe there is acceptance, understanding, and love that can truly begin in magical Monaco."
