B&B Recap August 11: Finn and Steffy Recreate Their Epic Reunion With Sheila in Tow, Deacon Pops the Question

On the Tuesday, August 11, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila promised to fly back to L.A, but didn't, while Deacon took advantage of some alone time.

Sheila, Go Home

On the plane, Finn continued to be annoyed by Sheila, who wanted to see the Mediterranean out the window. Finn informed his mother that she would be heading back to L.A. as soon as the plane landed. Sheila shrugged that idea off as she imagined riding through Monaco in a convertible.

"The sun on my face, the sea breeze in my hair. What an incredible way to see Monaco," she said.

Finn reiterated that Sheila had to return to L.A., so she realized he wasn't joking. Finn insisted that he wasn't going to allow Sheila to do anything to upset his stressed-out, over-the-top wife. He had even purchased her a ticket, so she could hang around the airport for a few hours and leave.

He begged Sheila to just leave Steffy be and not ruin their big reunion by the church. He wouldn't tell Steffy what happened, but he just wanted her gone. Sheila realized how important this was to her son and told him she'd go home. Finn deboarded the flight.

Sheila debated about what to do with her time, so she took a chance and chose to explore the area, promising herself she'd make her flight on time.

Steffy continued to dream about being reunited with Finn in Monaco four years to the day after their last, much less dramatic reunion. Her happy thoughts were interrupted by a lamenting Brooke and Ridge, who were angry at Logan and worried about the future of FC. Steffy clearly couldn't listen to it any longer, so she got ready for her big reunion and left.

Finally, Finn made it to the church and called out Steffy's name as if he had not seen her in years. She acted shocked, like she was sure he had to be dead. They ran to each other as they did in 2022 and all was right in their worlds again. Too bad Sheila was watching them from afar.

How Dare Katie?

As for Brooke and Ridge, they shared a few romantic moments near the ocean where they ran into Fanny, the fragrance designer who Steffy had to turn down just a few weeks ago. She told them there was a fragrance convention in the area, so she was picking up tips to design a new fragrance for Katie. This news nearly caused Brooke to have a meltdown.

Fanny told them that she came to FC first, but Steffy turned her down because of Daphne. Brooke and Ridge still felt that Katie had stolen someone else, despite the fact that FC couldn't use Fanny's fragrances.

"Will You Marry Me?"

In Los Angeles, Deacon was disappointed when Taylor told him there would be no sleepovers because she was watching Kelly and Hayes. But they would make the most of their time anyway. Taylor tried to stop Deacon when he attempted a makeout session on the couch.

They began talking about Finn and Steffy, of course. Deacon noted that Finn's flight must be miserable because he wasn't on a private jet like Steffy. Taylor knew it had to be a huge relief for Steffy to be with Finn away from Sheila. Deacon was happy for them, but he wanted to talk about anything but Finn, Steffy, and Sheila. "I'd rather focus on you and me and how lucky I feel to have you in my life," Deacon said.

Deacon marvelled at how far his life had come over the last year. He now owned two restaurants, so he wanted to build something more with Taylor, too. "I am 100% confident that this is right on every level," Deacon said.

Deacon continued to tell Taylor how perfect she was and how she made him a better man. In the past, he felt he only deserved women who were flawed like him, but now he knew he deserved someone like Taylor. "Things were hard and then I fell for you and it's like my entire mindset changed. I started seeing possibility everywhere," Deacon noted, telling Taylor that he loved her.
