B&B Recap August 12: Steffy's World Changed Forever as Sheila's Beach Toes Appeared

On the Wednesday, August 12, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy and Finn continued their magical reunion until Steffy's worst nightmare came true.

Reunion Time

Sheila looked on as Steffy and Finn recreated their epic reunion outside their special church in Monaco. Steffy praised Finn for being the best man she knew. "You vowed to put me first, always," Steffy said of the man who can never stick up to her demands. Sheila smiled as they kissed.

Finn and Steffy spent another few minutes telling the other how wonderful they are, with Steffy marveling at the joy they felt. "You're here, Finn. You're really here," she gushed. "Life is full of challenges, but you never let me down. Being here proves that."

Just then, the bells tolled, thrilling Steffy and Finn some more. Even Sheila was amazed at the scene, until a text came in to tell her that her flight was delayed. She asked her driver to take her to a cafe rather than the airport. Sheila turned up at a beach cafe, where her server tried to get her to stay in Monaco and take in the sights. Sheila even came on to the young man.

Sheila enjoyed her time on the beach, sipping a drink and wolfing down a sandwich. She even took a few selfies.

Meanwhile, Steffy and Finn also decided they needed a bite to eat, but Steffy needed to head to a meeting. They would meet at a special cafe for dinner instead. As they walked the beach, Steffy asked how Finn's flight was, but he didn't want to talk about it. They continued to stroll until a fan spotted them.

As Steffy chatted with her fan, Finn turned around and spotted Sheila, sitting on her chaise lounge and drying her feet. When she saw Finn, she placed the towel over her body, but her three-toed foot stuck out. As she walked some more, Steffy also spotted the foot and knew right away that it was Sheila.

In their hotel room, Brooke fretted over the idea of Finn not making it in time. She seemed to care so much about Steffy. "I get chills just thinking about it. Steffy and Finn, back at that same chapel, just like they were when they were reunited," she said wistfully.

Ridge noted how romantic Finn and Steffy's plans were, as he hinted that he and Brooke could find their own romance. Ridge told Brooke that they'd have to take another meeting, but after that, the day was all for them. Too bad their business meeting didn't go well because their business contact sent his daughter to tell them that they had just lost a client. They were going to do business with Logan instead.

Back in Los Angeles, Taylor stared in disbelief as Deacon got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. "Are you serious right now?" she asked. Deacon reminded Taylor of all the obstacles they had been through and asked her to marry him. Deacon was surprised that Taylor was surprised. He thought he had made his feelings towards her clear.

As Deacon attempted to slip the ring on Taylor's finger, she pulled her hand away. Deacon stood up and told Taylor she was the love of his life. She loved him too, but she certainly wasn't ready to marry him. She wasn't sure if they ever needed to be married. "At our age, do we really need a ceremony?" she asked. "We've both been married. Both divorced. At some point, doesn't it become a little ridiculous?"

Deacon was still in shock. He had divorced Sheila for her and now she didn't even want to marry him. "Did I make a mistake?" he asked. He just kept repeating that he had ended his marriage for the purpose of them becoming husband and wife. Taylor claimed the purpose was so she wouldn't be dating a married man. She would have said yes if she were 20 years younger.

Deacon tried to reason that as long as they were together, things would be okay. He hugged Taylor, but it was clear that he had been shaken up by her answer.
