B&B Recap August 24: Dylan Helps Will Forget Electra, Steffy Gives In to Carter's Pleas

On the Monday, August 24, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Dylan tried to get Will to have fun, RJ was patient with Electra, and Steffy did as Carter wanted.

The Secrets Between Us

Ridge burst into the private FC room where Steffy and Carter were arguing, demanding to know what was going on. Steffy covered for herself and told her father that she had just been relaying the Monaco beach story to Carter. She told him that she talked to Finn and "he assured me that Sheila would no longer be a part of our lives."

Ridge wasn't sure why Steffy believed him. "We don't want this one mistake to break us apart," she said. Ridge took Steffy in his arms, glad to know his daughter and Finn had worked things out. Carter put in his two cents. "It's the right thing to do. Allowing yourself to move on from this," he said.

Ridge felt that Steffy and Finn had always been faithful to each other and that was the most important thing. They could figure out the Sheila situation together. Steffy began to look panicked, so a confused Ridge tried to calm her. After Ridge left, Steffy panicked some more and told Carter that she couldn't keep this secret.

Carter insisted that one moment shouldn't alter the rest of the lives, but Steffy still felt that she had to tell Finn. She was sure he would forgive them. "We'll get past this. We get past everything. We'll get past this," she said. Carter reminded Steffy that Daphne wouldn't be as forgiving. Finally, Steffy agreed to keep the secret.

Bikini Bar Blues

At Bikini Bar, Electra and Will once again argued about their relationship. Electra had to stop coming there because she couldn't handle seeing him talking to Dylan anymore. "We will always share beautiful memories together, but I have too much self-respect to keep feeling this way," Electra lamented.

Will seemed surprised when she told him that it was time to move on, as if they hadn't had this conversation countless times before. When Will told Electra to go hang out with her buddy RJ, she grew offended and told him that she didn't have to explain herself. "Why don't you go have fun with your cuddle buddy?" Electra sneered.

After RJ and Electra left, Will handed Dylan some money for his bill and told her, "See you around," before sulking off.

Back at RJ's beach house, Electra fumed over Will supposedly being mean to her about her family and work. She didn't see the big deal about not telling Will about FC's secret project. RJ noted that Will was losing the best thing that had ever happened to him. Electra admitted that she'd always love Will. She just couldn't put up with him and Dylan.

Electra seemed to be getting tipsy as she admired RJ's place, calling it "sophisticated but laid back." She was surprised to learn that RJ likes to relax and read. Even when she tried to relax and have a drink with a friend, Will and Dylan were right there. RJ tried to distract Electra by reminding her that they could save Forrester Creations with Electra's new line.

"A successful youth line is exactly what this company needs," RJ insisted. "The Electra Line is going to be the future of Forrester." Electra thought this was like a "pinch me" scenario.

Fun at the Beach

Dylan got out of work early and showed up at Will's beach house with her swimwear while he sulked on the deck. "Look, I don't want to say anything bad about my former best friend, but don't you think Electra's not what you need?" she asked.

Dylan reminded Will that Electra was always hot and cold with him. She loved him one minute and was mad the next. "So, you're flawed. Who isn't? I happen to be crazy about the man you are, flaws and all?" Dylan said, to which Will smiled. Dylan was not at all shy or subtle when she told Will that she was following her heart and her heart wanted him.

"You keep doing what you're doing, pining away for Electra, but I think that you want someone who will actually have your back," Dylan said. "You know the spark that we have. Why not give it a chance?"

Will decided to do just that when he pulled Dylan in for a kiss. "Tonight can be the night where you decide to let your past go," Dylan said, pointing out how controlling and demanding that Electra could be. "I know, but I love her," Will said, to which Dylan asked, "Do you?" Will had to admit, "I don't know."

Dylan understood that Will's feelings wouldn't change overnight. "But it's not a healthy love and it hasn't been for a while," Dylan said.

Dylan convinced Will to take a fun swim in the ocean. They were laughing when they returned to the deck for a shower and a very sexy makeout session where one thing seemed to lead to another...
