B&B Recap August 7: Sheila Hops a Flight to Monaco With a Panicked Finn

On the Friday, August 7, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Taylor and Deacon felt bad for Sheila, who decided to surprise Finn.

Begging Again

From his office, Finn left a message with Steffy to apologize for missing the flight to Monaco due to emergency surgery. However, he will be catching a plane to meet her at their special cathedral. Li appeared as soon as she hung up and offered to book her son's ticket while he checked on his patient.

When Li returned to her office with her laptop open to a flight page, Sheila arrived with coffee. She once again begged Li to talk to Finn about letting her into his and Hayes' lives. Li claimed she had tried multiple times to no avail. "It's not happening. Do what Steffy asks. Just stay away. For Finn's sake and for the sake of his marriage," Li said.

Li asked Sheila to leave Steffy and Finn alone for now so they could enjoy their time in Monaco. Li mentioned that Steffy was already there and Finn was flying out soon. She even announced when she was done booking Finn's flight.

Flight Time

When Li was called away, she left Sheila alone in her office. Not surprisingly, Sheila snuck a look at Li's laptop and got Finn's flight information. Later, Finn was thrilled to hear he had a flight as Li told him to be on his way.

Finn did just that and settled into his first class seat, ready to meet Steffy. He even recalled that 2022 reunion when Steffy got her miracle and saw Finn alive. In Monaco, Steffy looked out at the ocean, remembering the same thing. She called Finn on the plane and told him how breathtaking her view was.

As soon as Finn hung up, he was stunned to see Sheila sit down beside him on the plane. He told her she needed to get off right away, but Sheila was excited about the trip as the flight attendant asked all passengers to fasten their seatbelts for takeoff.

Taylor and Deacon Feel Bad, but Not Bad Enough

Taylor and Deacon hung around Steffy's house, watching the kids and discussing Finn and Steffy's vacation. Taylor was so excited to make s'mores on the beach and watch movies. But for now, they had some alone time in the house when Sheila nearly caught them. Even Deacon acknowledged that night from the spring.

"Leave it to Sheila to ruin a good time," Taylor said of the woman whose husband she had an affair with and stolen.

Deacon apologized for constantly bringing up his ex-wife, as both of them noted that Sheila was now alone and had lost everything. They felt bad for her, but refused to acknowledge they were responsible for her predicament. Deacon hoped that Steffy would have a change of heart about Sheila, but Taylor assured Deacon that would never happen.

Taylor noted that she and Finn had tried to convince Steffy that Sheila would never harm the kids, but Steffy didn't care as she was still traumatized due to all the awful things Sheila had done in the past. Deacon acknowledged that Sheila was not an easy person to love, but he was impressed with how calm she was about the divorce.

"At the end of the day, she's a human being. She just wants to feel loved, feel connected, the same as everybody," Deacon said. Taylor agreed, but there was no talking to Steffy about this. She remained adamant that Sheila stay out of their lives.

Steffy texted to say she had landed safely, so Taylor launched into a speech about what wonderful and dedicated professionals and parents Finn and Steffy were. They deserved this break.
