B&B Recap July 13: Finn Told Sheila That He Loved Her

There's trouble on the horizon for Steffy and Finn's marriage in light of today's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful. Sheila was relentless in getting her son, Finn, to talk to his wife, Steffy, about having a place in their lives. Also, Bill gave Will some tough advice, and Steffy turned down a request that might have helped Forrester Creations!

Mother's Pressure

Sheila told Finn that he cheered her up on a horrible day, the day she gave up Deacon. She begged Finn for his support and for letting her be in his life. Sheila said that she was worthy of being cared about, and she asked Finn to help her get through with Steffy.

Sheila reiterated that she'd changed. She believed that Finn was the man to help convince Steffy. Finn said that his marriage would unravel if he were to do what Sheila asked. He told her he could not lose Steffy.

Sheila pushed back when Finn said that Steffy won't change. Sheila suggested that Steffy wouldn't have to be there when she spent time with Finn or Hayes. Finn said that wasn't going to happen. He added that he was proud of his mother for walking away from Deacon, but that didn't mean he was going to go against his wife's wishes.

Finn said that he had love for Sheila, but he couldn't ask Steffy to accept her. Sheila pushed and pushed until Finn finally said that he would broach the idea with Steffy. Sheila said that giving up Deacon was proof that she was worthy of love. Finn told his mother that he loved her. They embraced.

Eye on the Prize

Steffy turned down an interview with Eye on Fashion as it was owned by Bill Spencer. Ridge told his daughter that he had hit Bill, which made him feel a bit hypocritical as he fired Will for hitting RJ. Steffy said that Bill deserved it. She added that she was worried about Sheila because of her husband, Finn.

Steffy told Ridge that Sheila signed the divorce papers so she could be in Finn's life and in Hayes'. Ridge doesn't think that Finn will go against his wishes. Steffy feels that Sheila won't take no for an answer.

Fatherly Advice

Will checked on his dad, in light of Ridge hitting him. Bill said that he had never felt better. Bill advised Will not to lose any sleep over Electra Forrester. Bill acknowledged to Will that Electra was special, but that their relationship was not meant to be. Will said he doesn't want other women in LA. He wants Electra!

Will blamed himself for Electra's professional setbacks. Bill lamented that his son and his love life got caught in the crossfire, but he will never apologize to going after Ridge.

Bill told Will that he'd done nothing wrong. He said his son was in a tough spot, and Electra could have been more understanding. Bill advised Will to stop dwelling on Electra and to get on with his life, whether Electra was a part of it or not.

Will wondered why his dad wasn't encouraging him to fight for Electra, as Bill fought for Katie. Bill countered that Katie was in a special class and that he wasn't telling him to abandon a future, but he also should stand up for himself. Bill said that Spencers and Forresters aren't meant to be together. Bill urged his son to go and clear his head. He'd feel better.

The Beach Ball Is in the Air

At Bikini, Electra asked Dylan if she could take a break from work and talk. Electra informed her pal that she and Will were no longer living together. Electra recounted Will hitting RJ. She drove RJ to the hospital and then to his parents. Dylan wanted to know if RJ was okay, and Electra said he was. But she and Will were not!

Electra said that Ridge said that Forresters and Spencers don't mix. Electra said that she loved Will, but that his betrayal hurt. Dylan hugged her friend. While Dylan supported Electra, she probably couldn't help but wonder if a door with Will could open up for her once again.

Will Finn risk his marriage to help Sheila? Might Will heed his father's advice? Will Electra be okay if Dylan goes after Will?
