On the Wednesday, July 15, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Dylan did her best to get Will to forget about Electra, RJ did his best to get Electra to forget about Will, and Daphne did her best not to completely fall apart.
Daphne's Devastating News

In Li's office, Daphne insisted that her test results were wrong. How was she in early-onset menopause, meaning she couldn't have a child? Daphne broke down crying in Steffy's arms. She and Carter were supposed to be starting a family. She could barely believe this was happening. Daphne insisted there had to be some sort of treatment, but Li sadly told her that there wasn't.
Daphne kept repeating that she had promised Carter a family. Li tried to tell Daphne there were alternatives, so Steffy mentioned that she had some frozen eggs out there. That wasn't good enough for Daphne, who wanted her own eggs. "I don't want a child with a stranger. I want my own child," Daphne cried.
Daphne wept as she told Steffy that she dreaded seeing the disappointed look in Carter's eyes. Steffy stressed that Carter loved Daphne no matter what. "When Carter said 'for better or worse,' he meant it," Steffy reminded Daphne.
Still, Daphne was distraught. She and Carter had dreams of a family, but thought it wasn't in the cards for them. Then, they realized it could be and now they know it's not. Steffy suggested surrogacy or adoption, but Daphne only felt like a failure.
Carter's Hopes for the Future
In Eric's office, Carter explained to the confused Forresters that the company was getting a reputation for pushing people out. As the family wondered how they could have gotten such a rep, Carter grew distracted as he waited to hear about Daphne's fertility appointment.
Ridge tried to make Carter feel better, telling him they had not been trying for that long. But it hurt Carter every time Daphne saw a negative pregnancy test. The family decided that Carter needed to leave and be with his wife. After Carter left, Eric lamented the state of their company with all the online gossip. They were at least glad that Electra had moved out of Will's place.
Dylan Does Her Best

At the Spencer beach house, Dylan laid it on thick, telling Will that she just wanted him to smile and have more fun...as she continued to unbutton his shirt. Will pulled away and started lamenting about Electra. He missed her, but was glad that Dylan was there. Now, he could vent to someone.
Will blamed himself for not telling Electra the truth about Hope and the jewelry. He also wished he hadn't become so violent with RJ. "I pushed her away and I don't even know if she cares," Will said. Dylan was sure Electra cared, but pointed out that they were two very different people.
Dylan just came right out and said it: "I'm not sure you and Electra are a match." Will begged to differ, so Dylan explained. Electra was just too uptight. "You're a free spirit. You're someone who plays by your own rules," she added. Will stopped being himself when he was around Electra. She wanted to see the "authentic Will Spencer."
Dylan told Will that the authentic him was the man who saved her from living in her car. "If I did come back, I wouldn't be living above the garage," Dylan noted. Will could just smile. Dylan said that she had to get back to work, but asked that Will not tell Electra that she was there. She got Will to smile a few more times before leaving, but he still kept talking about Electra.
RJ Does His Best

Electra pouted in the design office as RJ told her that she did the right thing by moving out of Will's place. "My dad's right. A Forrester and a Spencer. It doesn't work," RJ said. Electra didn't seem to care. "How can I stay away from him when I love him so much?" she asked.
RJ went on and on about the horrors of the Spencer clan, claiming that Will inherited all of his father's bad traits. Electra insisted that Will was different. RJ argued that he wasn't. It was in his blood, so he could never change. RJ continued his disparaging of the Spencer clan, telling Electra that Ridge was trying to look out for her. Staying away from Will would "end the cycle of pain."
Later, after Electra arrived home to weep in Eric's living room, Will appeared. He apologized for everything, including the violence. Electra seemed moved by Will's words. He begged Electra to come home, but Electra didn't know what to say.
Should Electra take Will back? Should Daphne use Steffy's eggs since she offered? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
