B&B Recap July 16: Eric Ordered Will to Get Out of His House...and Stay Away From 'Precious' Electra

On the Thursday, July 16, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric put his foot down with Will, Daphne broke bad news to Carter, and Steffy lamented to her mother.

In Eric's office, Ridge continued to insist that Electra was one of them, which meant she couldn't be with Will because Spencers and Forresters do not mix. Eric noted that his brother would be happy he was taking care of his granddaughter, especially with Ivy now gone. "She was wrong about the way she handled things, but she wasn't wrong about Will," Ridge said.

The men then planned the couture fashion show. They did not want reporters or guests, so they were going to just live stream it and do an exclusive with one reporter. Ridge and Eric couldn't believe what Hope had done. Brooke was so distraught that she had to remain at the spa and miss Eric's show.

Somehow, the conversation turned back to Electra. Eric was going to make sure that Will Spencer stayed out of Electra's life.

Will Begged, Eric Demanded

Will stood in Eric's living room begging and pleading for Electra to take him back. They loved one another and that was all that mattered. Electra didn't think it would be so easy. She knew he was sorry and that he loved her. She loved him too, but Ridge said they couldn't be together, so she was going to listen.

Will was outraged that Ridge thought he had the right to tell Electra what to do. "You're not a kid. He's not your dad. He doesn't get to dictate your life," Will argued. Electra explained that Ridge had been so good to her. She felt she owed the Forresters for putting a roof over her head and taking care of her.

Electra switched back to wounded mode, telling Will how she was still hurt about the Hope for the Future diamond and Will's secrecy. She was also frightened when she saw Will attack RJ. She still loved him, but they couldn't be together. As Will begged some more, Eric stormed in and told him to leave Electra alone.

Will respectfully told Eric that if he wanted to see Electra anywhere but his house, he would. "Not happening," Eric said. He then proceeded to go off on all the secrets Will kept about the Logan fashion show. How could he do that to Electra? Will argued that he apologized, but Eric didn't care. He pointed his finger at Electra and reminded her of Ridge's demands.

Eric insisted that Electra was precious, so Will said the same. Electra was silent, but she was precious to everyone. Eric ordered Will out again. Will refused again. As Eric went on and on about the virtues of Electra, she looked at her uncle with love. Eric appealed directly to Electra and told her to cut Will loose.

Carter and Daphne's Heartache

In the design office, Steffy tried to comfort Daphne after she received her devastating fertility news. Daphne had no idea how she was going to tell Carter the news. Steffy was sure they could get through this together. When Carter appeared, he could tell something was wrong.

Steffy left them alone so they could talk. Daphne sadly told Carter that she couldn't have children. Carter was confused. How could this be? Daphne explained that she was going through premature menopause, which prevented her from becoming pregnant. "I'm infertile. I can't give you the family you want. I'm sorry," she cried as Carter took his wife in his arms.

Daphne felt like her body betrayed her, but Carter insisted this was not Daphne's fault. Still, she was heartbroken at the idea of never having her own baby. As Daphne spoke of them losing their dream, Carter tried to be comforting, but he grew choked up and couldn't get the words out. They both cried in each other's arms.

Steffy is Sad

After leaving FC, Steffy finally took off her raincoat so she could sit with Taylor in her lingerie at Bikini Bar. Steffy wanted to try to make amends with her mom after arguing earlier in the day. Taylor could tell that Steffy was upset about something, so she told Taylor all about Daphne's bad news.

Taylor noted that she has had patients who have experienced premature menopause and offered her services in case Carter and Daphne wanted to talk. Taylor also remained optimistic, reminding Steffy that there were many options for Carter and Daphne if they wanted a child.

Steffy launched into a speech about how wonderful pregnancy was and how sad it was that Carter wouldn't get to attend ultrasound appointments or coach Daphne through labor.
