B&B Recap July 21: Eric Loses it After Fashion Show, Tells The World Hope and Katie Are ‘Evil’

Here's your recap for The Bold and the Beautiful episode that aired on Monday, July 20, 2026.

Fashion Forward

The Forresters prepared for their fashion presentation. Eric marveled at how this would be the first time it was done without a traditional audience. Instead, it was going to be done by streaming. Ridge said he miss Brooke being there and all the people.

Will lamented at Logan Designs that his actions cost him the Hope Diamond cost him relationship with Electra. Bill said that Logan Designs has Forrester Creations rattled. Bill told his son to get over Electra.

Bill added he wanted to pop some popcorn. Katie said that they didn't want Forrester to fail. Will said that he was glad that Forrester Creations was going to use Electra's designs.

RJ calmed Electra before the fashion show. He asked her what was going on besides pre-show jitters. Electra recapped Eric being angry at Will and the encounter at the mansion. RJ suggested they watch the livestream. They need to put the Spencers on notice that Forrester Creations is back.

The Doctor Is Out

Finn wrapped up a phone call advising on a medical case. Sheila showed up at his door, asking her son to just listen to him. She couldn't wait anymore. Sheila asked if Finn had talked to Steffy about Sheila having changed and how she deserved a place in their lives. Sheila reiterated that she left her cheating husband go and she didn't retaliate. If that doesn't show she has changed then nothing will. "Tell me I'm not going to be alone," Sheila begged.

Finn said that he was sorry but that he could not see her anymore. Sheila continued to play the "I gave up Deacon so Taylor could have him." Finn said that Steffy's stance hasn't changed.

Finn reiterated that Sheila was not welcome in the lives of him and his family. Shelia said if she only got to spend time with Finn then she'd accept that. She asked her son to talk to Steffy again. "Steffy put her foot down," Finn said, restating that Steffy will always see her as a threat. He told his mom to go and to not reach out again.

Eric told RJ that it was nice of Brooke to text before the bigt show. Steffy announced that the live stream was about to start. Ridge announced that they were going to show everyone how it was done.

At Bikini, Taylor visited Deacon. She marveled that Sheila signed the divorce papers. Taylor wasn't sure how Deacon got Sheila to sign the papers. Taylor hoped that Sheila didn't want a place in Steffy's family. Deacon believed that Sheila had changed.

Deacon said that he was team Logan because of his daughter, Hope, and that Taylor was team Forrester because of her daughter.

Always in Fashion

The Forrester Creations show began. The Forresters, including Eric, Ridge, Steffy, RJ, Zende, and Electra watched, proudly. Across town, the Spencer/Logan Designs team of Bill, Katie, Will, Hope, Deke, and Liam, watched from the Spencer offices.

Hope asked Liam, on his laptop, if the gowns and jewelry were being linked so that viewers could check them out. Meanwhile, Steffy called Eric's designs "breathtaking" as the Forrester models strutted their stuff. RJ convinced Electra that her pieces were stunning.

Steffy announced that Eric Forrester was trending worldwide. "Well done, everyone," Eric said. Ridge announced that they had class and sophistication at Forrester.

Deke and Katie were impressed with the designs, but Bill said the presentation wasn't so good. Katie said that Logan has made Ridge and Eric feel that they have something to prove. Hope said that she's proud of what Logan Designs has done, but she doesn't want to revel in any hardship for Forrester.

Ready for Her Closeup

Sienna (played by Entertainment Tonight's Nischelle Turner) interviewed Eric about the livestreaming of the collection. Sienna asked Eric about his time away from Forrester Creations when he was at Logan Designs. Eric said that he was here to talk about the new couture line at Forrester -- not his brief time at Logan.

Bill noted that conflict and discord sell, regarding Sienna's tough questions. Eric told Sienna that his new line proves their commitment to quality. Sienna kept bringing up Logan, which irritated Eric.

Steffy tried to step in, but Ridge said that his father was a pro and he could handle this. Eric went off on a rant about Logan Designs "stealing" Hope from them. "I was shocked by it!" Eric shouted. He added that Katie has become as dark and as evil as her husband, Bill Spencer.

Watching on a monitor across town, Will said, "Watch your mouth, old man. Don't speak about my mother that way."

Eric compared Logan Designs to the original Sally Spectra. Ridge tried to intervene. "It's like a stab in the back, and I blame Bill Spencer for it," Eric added. He called Will Spencer "hot-headed."

Steffy told Sienna not more questions. Deacon said that he'd never seen Eric like that (and Eric ran over Deacon with his car once!) Bill said that Eric's rants will just generate more noterity.

Eric's family tried to calm him down. Eric said that he wasn't talking anything back. RJ told his granddad not to let the Spencers get to him. Ridge said the war between the two fashion houses was far from over!
