On the Wednesday, July 22, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Eric gave Will a warning, Electra ended things for good, Brooke returned, and Katie felt guilty.
Will Begs Again

The patrons at Bikini Bar were horrified when they saw Eric go down after Will punched him while aiming for RJ. Electra and RJ rushed right to his side, chastising Will, who could do nothing but apologize. He certainly didn't mean to punch an 80-year-old man.
Dr. Taylor worried that Eric might have a concussion. Deacon demanded answers as Will still kept insisting it was all an accident. "Electra, you gotta believe me," he said. As Taylor and Deacon walked Eric out, he turned around and told Will he was just like his father. He also ordered Will to stay away from Electra.
Will again tried to explain himself to Electra, so RJ came along and punched him harder than Will punched Eric. All Electra could do was stand there in horror. Will once again begged Electra to believe him, but she looked at him as if she was frightened, despite seeing what actually had happened.
Will continued to beg and plead with his ex-girlfriend, but she refused to budge. "You hit Eric. An 80-year-old man, the kindest and sweetest person that I know. You punched him in the face," she said. Electra didn't even care that it was an accident. "It scares me how violent you are," he said.
Will grew hysterical, telling Electra they could run away together. He loved her and that was enough. Still, Electra told him no. "Never, it's over," she insisted as RJ gloated.
Brooke is Back

In Eric's office, Ridge just paced and sighed before looking at some sketches. All he could think of was how frustrated Eric was after the interview fiasco. He blamed everything on Logan, as the rest of the Forresters had. Ridge's mood lightened when Brooke appeared, all fresh from that necessary spa break after Katie so rudely stole her daughter.
Brooke had been refreshed and rejuvenated during her little spa vacation. She did a lot of reflecting and determined she needed to be by Ridge's side. "My sister and my daughter...they really betrayed Forrester," she noted, before noting how impeccable Eric's gowns were. However, she had to sigh when Ridge brought up Eric's interview.
Ridge insisted that the reporter had baited Eric, who wasn't wrong about anything he had said. When a reporter called, Ridge offered a positive comment, but the reporter wasn't satisfied so Ridge ended the call. As he kissed Brooke, RJ sent a text about Will punching Eric. They rushed out to the Forrester mansion.
Katie's Sad Guilt

In the Logan office, Bill was amused to find Eric's interview had been made into memes. Katie was not as amused, as she felt bad for Eric. Katie also didn't like how she came off in public now. "His outburst made me seem like a lying, backstabbing thief," she said.
Bill reminded Katie that the public was on her side, but Eric's words still stung and she wondered if there was some truth to them. "I never meant to hurt him," she said. Bill still didn't seem to care. After all, Eric hurt his Katie and that just won't do. Katie just didn't want to punch a man while he was down, so to speak.
Katie explained that she had always thought of Eric as a father figure, so this hurt her. "I love him and I have nothing but respect for him," Katie cried. Bill started to understand, but he pointed out that "the feeling clearly wasn't mutual." At least they were proud of the way that Will came to his mom's defense.
Katie still wanted to make sure to keep the status quo and not make anything worse between the Forresters and Spencers. "Like it or not, our son is in love with a Forrester, so I will do everything in my power to protect that." After Bill had left for a meeting, Katie began thinking about her father-daughter relationship with Eric. She was horrified when the text came in about what her son had done.
