B&B Recap July 23: Katie Groveled as Brooke Disowned Her Sister (Again)

On the Thursday, July 23, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Katie begged the Forresters for forgiveness while they called her son a lowlife and a degenerate.

Will returned to his beach house forlorn over Electra as always. He flashed back to punching Eric and Electra ending things with him once and for all. Soon, Katie walked in to chastise her son for hitting Eric. Will explained what happened between him and RJ, but stressed that he only punched Eric by accident.

Katie was also angry that Will intended to hit RJ, who was his cousin. "He baited you and you fell for it," Katie accused. "I can't believe I raised a son who decides to solve his problems with his fist."

Will felt awful as his mother went on and on about Will being a bigger man and walking away. She also pointed out that Eric was an old man with health issues, so he was the last person Will should be arguing with ever. Katie was disturbed by the violence, while also lamenting the war between the Forresters and the Spencers.

Will wanted his mother to understand that he wasn't some "violent Neanderthal" but knew he had hurt his relationship between Katie and Brooke. Katie knew that was her problem to solve, but she still couldn't understand how her son could hit Eric, someone he had known his whole life.

Will even knew that he should be thinking about the 80-year-old man he had just assaulted, rather than Electra, who was all he could think about. Katie agreed. "I don't think the Logan family will ever be the same after what you did today," she said.

Dylan Makes Her Move

At Bikini Bar, Jessica ran in, looking for Dylan to give her the deets on everything that had happened. Dylan insisted that the Will punching Eric was a complete accident. The two young women discussed the Will and RJ situation, with them both shocked that Electra refused to even give Will the benefit of the doubt.

Dylan admitted that her heart was breaking for Will after hearing Electra tell him it was over for good. Jessica once again encouraged Dylan to go to Will and offer him comfort. "You love Will. You owe it to yourself to be there for him at a time like this," Jessica said.

So, that is exactly what Dylan did. She channeled Steffy by finding herself a cute little nightgown and a coat and walking into Will's beach house as he sat in the dark with a beer after Katie left. Will was in a bad mood, lamenting how nobody believed him, especially Electra.

The Forresters are Beside Themselves

A panicked Donna welcomed Brooke and Ridge to Eric's living room as they waited for news on the patriarch's condition. They didn't have to wait long, because Electra and RJ dragged Eric in, as he claimed Will sucker punched him. Donna ran into Eric's arms and Ridge wanted to take him to the hospital.

Eric claimed he was just fine, but Donna still shoved an ice pack over his eye as everyone fussed around him. Donna implied she would physically assault her own nephew if he ever did anything to her precious Eric again. RJ tried to take the blame for what happened and realized he should have stayed away from Will.

"Why didn't you? Do I even have to ask?" Ridge wondered. He knew it had to be over Electra. Eric refused to allow RJ to take the blame, calling Will a "classless bully." RJ was proud to announce that he punched Will, too, so they were even. Brooke understood, but then remembered she had to be a grown-up and told RJ, "No more violence."

Eric used all of this as an excuse to once again bar Electra, whom he called "young lady," from seeing Will. That was the most important order that Electra had to follow if she wanted the Forresters to like her. As Eric gave another speech about the horrors of Will, Katie burst in with her apologies.

Brooke and Ridge told Katie to go, but she refused. She had to see for herself that Eric was ok. All Eric could do was call Will a degenerate. Katie explained that what had happened was an accident, but the Forresters refused to believe her. Katie asked that the war between the families end, but Brooke accused Katie of wanting the war.

Eric then threatened to press charges against Will, so Katie defended him once again. She told them that family came first and she wanted the war over. "You're no longer a part of this family. You turned your back on this family," Brooke spat.
