Katie: B&B Recap October 14: Brooke Confronts Hope and Katie, Will Tells Dylan He Loves Her

Katie Logan got the last laugh on The Bold and the Beautiful, as Zende made another choice regarding his future. The recap for the October 14, 2026, episode also featured a Katie/Brooke showdown, and also, Will saying those three magic words to Dylan -- "I love you."

Changes at Forrester Creations

An exasperated Eric wanted to stop Zende from defecting to Logan Designs. Then, Brooke entered the CEO’s office and asked what was going on. Ridge said that they’d lost another – Zende had gone over to Logan Designs. Brooke said it was impossible that Zende left Forrester for Logan. She thought things were looking up. Eric said that Zende felt tossed aside. Brooke told Eric that he must be heartbroken. Eric lamented not seeing the situation with Zende, which prompted him to go to Logan. Brooke wanted to know if Kristen had called. Ridge said that she had not.

Brooke said that Katie promised her that she wouldn’t steal any more Forresters. Brooke noted that Katie used a young, innocent girl. Ridge pointed out that Zende and Dylan were a package deal, but they would never know when Dylan would report back to Logan what was going on at Forrester Creations.

Eric said that Zende and Dylan were joining forces with Bill and Katie at Logan. Brooke said that she was not going to let Katie hurt them anymore.

Later, Ridge said he texted both Steffy and Carter and told them what happened with Zende. Eric said that it was out of character for Zende to do this. Ridge noted that it was Brooke’s sister who was doing all this to them. Ridge said that Logan Designs annoys him. Eric said that they have a five-alarm fire going on because of Logan Designs and Katie's machinations!

At Logan Designs, Katie snarked that Dylan didn’t come through for her, as Zende didn’t come over. Will said that Dylan did a favor for Katie, but she wasn’t a miracle worker. Then, Dylan entered and shared that Forrester Creations had fired her.

Will couldn’t believe this was happening. Dylan said that the Forresters saw her as a spy. She said that Electra went to the Forresters and made it sound like she was selling out Forrester. Hope and Deke felt bad for Dylan.

Then, Zende entered. He shared that he and Dylan were both unemployed. He said he quit his job at Forrester. Katie could barely contain her glee. Zende said his intention was to stay at Forrester, but then Eric and Ridge went back to their old ways. Zende said that the way they treated Dylan was wrong.

Zende said that if the offer still stood, he’d be honored to be a part of Logan Designs. Katie and Hope hugged Zende. Hope told Zende that this was where he was meant to be. Zende said that he was ready to go to work. Katie said that they would issue a press release as soon as possible. Katie wondered if Brooke was there when this went down. Zende said no. Everyone celebrated Zende joining the team at Logan Designs.

Life’s a Beach

At Will’s beach house, Will told Dylan he was excited that Zende was joining the team. Will added that Zende was there to stand up for Dylan. She suggested that it was only a matter of time before Electra pushed her out the door. Will said that Dylan did the right thing, and this wasn’t the first time that Forrester Creations kicked someone to the curb. Will promised Dylan that she’d be okay. She kissed him and said she felt more than okay when she was with Will.

Will and Dylan canoodled on his sofa. Dylan said that she was sad to say goodbye to the Forrester Creations paycheck. She wondered how she’d support herself with only Bikini bartending. Will said that he got it. He added that he’d make sure Katie gave Dylan a job since this was her fault. Will jokingly said he’d rather kiss Dylan’s “stupid face” than talk about his mom.

Dylan said that she didn’t take him for granted. Will said that Dylan was always thanking him; he wanted to thank her. Will said that Dylan gives him a million different reasons to smile every single day. “I just want to see you happy,” Dylan said. He said that just being around her was enough. “You make everything more fun,” Will said, including bumper-to-bumper traffic. Will added that he laughs when Dylan changes up the lyrics to his favorite songs. “I feel like a better man,” Will said. Dylan said that Will makes her feel like she is walking on air. “I love you so much,” Dylan said. “I love you, too,” Will responded. Then, the two kissed.

Brooke V. Katie and Hope

At Logan Designs, Katie and Hope celebrated Zende’s move. Katie called Hope, Deke, and Zende the design dream team! Hope said that Brooke would not be happy. Then, Katie got a call – Brooke was there. Then, Brooke walked in. “Zende? Now, you’ve taken Zende! How could you?” Brooke said.

Katie said that Zende was miserable as he was being passed over for RJ. Brooke said that Katie lied to Zende. She accused her of wanting to make Logan Designs “Forrester 2.0.” Brooke said that Katie hadn’t built anything on her own. Katie disagreed.

Brooke wondered if Katie wanted a pat on the back. Then, Brooke told Hope that she hadn’t helped. She said that Forrester Creations has been suffering since her departure. Brooke told Katie that it was time to stop. Katie shrugged that this was just business! Brooke said it was revenge. “And it breaks my heart,” Brooke said.
