Steffy has known she’s pregnant for some time now on The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, everyone else knows, too, as Li and Finn delivered some big news on the episode that aired on Thursday, October 22, 2026. Also, Donna acted as a sounding board to Brooke, who is genuinely concerned about her sister and the future of Forrester Creations!
Steffy Is Pregnant!
At the hospital, Li demanded to know why Steffy and Carter went ahead with the egg donor and surrogacy plan without saying a word to Finn.
Carter said that Steffy wanted to help him and Daphne. Steffy felt pressure. Finn asked how she could have kept this from him. Carter said that Steffy was trying to help his family. Finn wondered about his family, however.
Finn asked Steffy how she could have done what she did. Carter and Daphne tried to leave, but Finn stopped them. Finn said that they were going to find out if she was pregnant or not. Finn reminded Steffy how he felt about her being a surrogate, and she ignored him. Steffy said that she was trying to help a friend. Finn told Carter that he didn’t need to talk down to him. Finn told his mother to prep for the blood tests. Finn said they were going to find out if Steffy was pregnant with Carter’s child or not – today!
Li said there was only a 65% success rate with the procedure that Steffy stated she had. Daphne said that she didn’t know about Steffy stepping up either. Carter jumped in and explained that Steffy wanted to do this for him and Daphne Rose. Carter tried to get his doctor to follow through with the test. Finn said no. He did not have any say or control in this, so they would all find out now.
Later, Finn said that Li would be back for the results. Then, Li entered with the results. Finn looked at Li’s tablet. “You’re pregnant,” Finn stated. Daphne was overjoyed. She and Carter hugged. He said that he wanted that for her. Daphne hugged Steffy and thanked her. “I don’t know how to thank you,” Daphne told her pal. “Steffy, thank you, my best friend. My sister. I love you.”
Carter realized that he had better say something. He told Steffy that this gift meant everything. He noted that Steffy may be carrying the baby, but that Daphne would be the mother. Steffy was overcome with emotion. As Carter hugged Daphne, he looked at Steffy.
Brooke Confides in Donna
Brooke had Donna over for tea. Donna asked if Brooke had anything stronger. Donna said that Eric was devastated over Zende leaving Forrester. Brooke said that this was an attack on her, personally. Donna said that the war needed to come to an end. Donna pointed out that Katie was stressed out and overwhelmed. She added that Katie didn’t know what she was doing. Brooke countered that Katie knew exactly what she was doing. Brooke claimed that Katie wanted to hurt Brooke more than she wanted Logan to win.
Brooke shared with Donna that Bill agreed with her. Donna was stunned. She crossed her heart not to say anything. Brooke shared that she talked to Bill and asked for his help. Donna said that Brooke was playing with fire by reaching out to Bill. Brooke said that the last time she tried to hug Katie, her sister looked at her like she was crazy. Donna was stunned that Brooke disclosed to Bill that Forrester Creations was having money problems.
Brooke assured Donna that Bill would not betray her. Donna said that if Katie finds out that Brooke and Bill had talked, it wouldn't go over well. Donna said that Bill would go in for the kill. Brooke said that Bill wouldn’t hurt her. Brooke said that she knew Bill better than Donna did.
Donna commented that Bill and Brooke’s relationship broke Katie’s heart on more than one occasion. Ridge didn’t like him either. Brooke said that it was a risk reaching out to Bill. Donna said that everything Katie was doing was a page out of Bill’s playbook. Brooke said that she was appealing to Bill. They admire and appreciate one another. Brooke pointed out to Donna that their quarterlies don’t look that good. Donna wondered if Bill listened to Brooke. She said that eventually, he did. Donna said if anyone could get through to Bill, it’d be Brooke!
Katie Is Confused, Understandably So
Katie marveled that Bill didn’t want to destroy the competition. Katie was incredulous that Bill was behaving this way. She read back to Bill a few of his mantras about winning over the enemy. Bill said those sounded familiar. Katie wanted to know what had changed. Then, the phone rang. Katie answered it.
While she spoke on the phone, Bill flashed back to Brooke telling him that Katie was out of control and that she was going to lose both her and Donna. Katie wrapped up her call and wanted to know why Bill was practically going soft on Forrester Creations. Bill said that it might serve them well to stop attacking Forrester.
Katie reminded Bill that Eric, Hope, and Zende all came to Logan Designs because Forrester Creations had disrespected them. Katie asked Bill if he would be happy if they buried Forrester. Bill replied that he wouldn’t, but he wasn’t sure that they needed to be buried.
Katie pointed out that Brooke has been attacking Katie for weeks. She pointed out that Bill backed her, and he protected her. Bill said that he’d always look out for Katie’s best interests. She wanted to know what could be better than winning. Bill feared the attacks on Forrester Creations would end up costing Katie.

Bill told Katie that she was focused on bringing down the enemy. Katie pointed out that that was the original plan. That’s why Wyatt sought out the Hope For The Future diamond. Katie said that Bill’s change of heart was coming out of nowhere. She didn’t get it.
