Bill continued to play with fire by visiting Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful, as he gave her a sneak peek at some headlines! The episode that aired on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, also had Will championing for Dylan, and Katie acting gleeful about the future.
Dirty Laundry
Bill showed up at Brooke’s house. Brooke was surprised to see him, and she told him it was a good thing that Ridge had left for the office. Bill told Brooke that he tried to talk to Katie again, but it didn’t work. Bill gave Brooke some bad news. He showed her his phone so she could see it. Brooke couldn’t believe what she was reading on Bill’s cell phone. It was an internal email about Zende joining Logan Designs. Bill told Brooke that he supported Katie’s vision.
Bill showed Brooke the headlines for Spencer Publications magazines that reported on Zende joining Logan Designs. Brooke read one of the headlines that said, “The Ultimate Betrayal – Zende Forrester Dumps Family Empire to Join Arch Rivals.” Brooke said that Katie couldn’t do this! Bill said that she could and she did.
Brooke couldn’t believe that Katie had done this since the Logan sisters were always so close, and because Eric had given Katie her start. Brooke wanted to cry. She also lamented that her daughter could be going along with this. Bill admitted the headlines were pretty rough. Brooke called them “offensive trash.” Bill said the headlines would drop today.
Life's a Beach
At the beach house, Will told Dylan that he was getting used to waking up next to her every morning. Dylan wanted to know if she was overstaying her welcome. Will got ready to leave for the office. Dylan said that she was going to spend the day job-hunting. Will advised her to hold off. He’s going to try to get Katie to hire Dylan.
Dylan said it was okay that Katie was icing her out. Will said that he wanted to help. Dylan said it was better that he didn’t help. She advised him to let the universe do its thing. Dylan rattled off the other things going on, including teaching kids. Will loved Dylan’s attitude, but said it wasn’t fair. Then, Will got the official email on Zende joining Logan Designs. Dylan thought that was a done deal. Will said the email made it official. He insisted that she join him at his office. Dylan said she needed to change clothes, but that she would join him there.
Later, Darcy arrived with some clothes for Dylan. Dylan told her mom that Will was trying to get her hired by Katie. Darcy was over the moon! Darcy said that a good job with benefits and a 401K was so hard to find. Darcy said that she didn’t want Dylan to ever live in her car again. Darcy suggested Dylan wear a pink suit. “This one says, ‘Logan,’” Darcy beamed.
Darcy called a friend, Georgie, and said she was watching Matt Damon on the beach. When Dylan came back in wearing the pink suit, Darcy hung up the phone and put down her binoculars. Darcy told Dylan that her outfit made her look like she belonged at Logan.
Dylan said that she wanted to be hired on her merits. Darcy offered to drive Dylan to Will’s office. They could roleplay, and she’d be Katie. Dylan passed. Darcy said that she’d tidy up and prepare cocktails for when Dylan came home with good news so that they could celebrate. “You’re going to kick some [butt],” Darcy said. Mother and daughter told each other that they loved one another.

An energetic Katie entered her office. She was pleased that Deke, Zende, and Hope got her text about meeting them. Hope asked her aunt how much coffee she had that morning. Katie said a lot! Katie welcomed Zende to his new home.
Katie said the public relations team had a release ready to go out announcing that Zende was joining Logan Designs. It would be released internally as soon as possible, and then a release would go out to the fashion world.
Zende said it was all a bit overwhelming. Katie told her team to click on the links that revealed headlines about Zende’s move. They emphasized Zende's jumping ship. Hope thought that they were a bit much. Katie quipped it’s almost as if someone (Katie) had a background in publicity.
Hope and Zende thought that the headlines were a bit much. Katie told them to relax. They were just clickbait. “Hope, this is the way it works,” Katie said. She pointed out that people don’t have long attention spans. Katie added that the articles themselves were very mild.
Zende said they wanted the announcement to go smoothly. Katie told Zende that he’d be valued just like he always deserved to be. Katie said that they were all so lucky to have found each other. She couldn’t be more thrilled with her team.
Later, Will came to Katie’s office, and he complimented her mother on the press release, calling it something his father would come up with; Katie took that as a compliment. Then, Will told Katie that she had to hire Dylan.
Katie said in a one-way phone call to the publicity department (presumably) to start getting the word out there. Katie said she needed to work. Will said that his mom was free until noon. He found that out from her secretary. Katie said that it’s not even clear that Zende was the reason she was fired. Will said Katie owed it to Dylan to hire her. Will said that his girlfriend and mother were both good people. He told Katie that Dylan was a hard worker. “Just be nice to her,” Will said.

He opened the door, and Dylan entered. Will hugged her. "Melissa Dylan,” Katie said. She hadn’t expected to see Will’s girlfriend so soon in her office. Dylan said she’d love to work there, but it was Katie’s company. She asked Mrs. Spencer what she wanted.
