There was a lot of "designing" happening on The Bold and the Beautiful. At Forrester Creations and at Logan Designs, Forrester, Spencers, and others were planning out their futures, standing up for what they wanted. The episode that aired on Monday, October 5, 2026, had lies, schemes, and manipulations!
Procedure Reveal
Daphne Rose couldn't believe Steffy was her and Carter's surrogate. Daphne asked Steffy if she'd gone through with the procedure. Carter jumped in and said that yes, that was the case.
Carter said that his wife was clearly blindsided. He added that we are here now, and we can have the life that they dreamed about. Daphne was curious that Steffy went ahead and had the procedure without her.
Carter lied that the embryo had to be transferred or they would have lost it. Daphne started to realize that Steffy could be carrying her and Carter's baby. "Yes, we went ahead with the surrogacy procedure," Steffy lied.
Daphne thanked Steffy, calling her a great friend. Daphne said she was overwhelmed. She couldn't understand how a huge secret like this could be kept from her. "My husband and my best friend," Daphne said, not fully realizing the irony of her words.
Wise Wyatt
In the Logan Designs showroom, Wyatt made some jokes to see if Will was paying attention to him. Wyatt told Will he could talk to him as one lady's man to another; Will joked that Wyatt wasn't a lady's man. Then, he said he was kidding, and he let his brother know about Katie's control issues with Dylan.
Wyatt said Zende could handle himself. He added that Dylan can, too. Wyatt felt that Katie was on to something. He said that being a Spencer carries weight. It only made sense that Katie needed to be able to trust Dylan. Wyatt said that Dylan needed to handle being a part of a family that would win at all costs. Will said it wasn't right for Katie to use his relationship this way.
Wyatt said that he was proud to be a part of what Bill was growing with Katie. He added that Will gets a puppy dog look every time Electra's name comes up. Will said that two things can be true. He cared about two women. Wyatt said that he wouldn't be the first Spencer man to have that happen.
Designing Women
Over at Logan Designs, Katie explained to Zende that Hope did not leave him -- she left a workplace that didn't appreciate her. Katie told Zende to come to Logan Designs so he could reunite with Hope and fly high.
Katie offered Zende a sweet deal. She said if he was happy at Forrester, then she'd back off. Zende told Hope that she let him down. She changed his world, and not for the better. Hope said that she couldn't have told Zende what was going on. Hope said that she decided to go where she was appreciated. That had to be a secret. They couldn't resist Forrester Creations finding out. She asked Zende to understand that.
Katie said that Hope's tenure at Forrester Creations was long over before she left. Katie blamed Steffy for shelving Hope For The Future. Katie said that Hope For The Future hadn't had an official launch at Forrester Creations in years.
She added that Zende knew what it was like to be pushed aside. Then, she suggested that Zende liked taking orders from Ridge. Katie asked how things were going at Forrester. He hedged by responding that every place has its ups and downs. Zende played things close to the vest. Katie suggested that Zende was taking orders from RJ, knowing that it was like digging a knife into him. Katie also pointed out that he never rode on his name (Forrester).
Zende turned to Hope and said that he had left her behind. Hope said that she called him after her show. Hope said that she hated keeping Zende in the dark, but that it was the right decision for her and her career. "I am sorry that I hurt you," Hope said. Katie chimed in and tried to convince Zende to come over. Katie said that yes, they had Deke, who is wonderful, but that he needed help. "He needs you. We need you," Katie said.
Electra Gets a Shock
Electra grilled Dylan in the design room. She wanted to know where Zende was. Dylan said that she didn't know. Electra started to leave, which prompted Dylan to ask if they could stop being this way.
Dylan said that Electra walked out on Will many times. Electra said that Dylan moved in on Will while he was vulnerable. "Maybe I overreacted," Electra acknowledged. She should have given the situation more time. Electra said that Dylan had no right to move in on Will so quickly.

Electra said that her last friend (Remy) humiliated her. She said that deep down she still loves Will, and she knows that he loves her. Dylan said that Electra keeps asking how Dylan could have done what she did, but maybe she should be asking why she chose everyone else over Will, which is what she did.
Dylan asked Electra if she thought Will was really like his dad. Electra said no. Dylan said that Electra chose her family over a man she said she loved. Dylan said maybe Spencers and Forresters don't mix. Dylan said she was a friend. And to be honest? Will needed one. He was a mess. At his worst. And Dylan was there because Electra wasn't. "I didn't walk out. And I never will," Dylan stated.
