Carter continued to see lies at Forrester Creations while, across town, Katie tried to seal a deal with Zende on The Bold and the Beautiful. The Tuesday, October 6, episode also featured two fashion power couples, Ridge and Brooke, and RJ and Electra.
Pregnant Pause
Daphne asked what possible reason could there be as to why Steffy didn’t include her in the embryo/surrogate process. Daphne lamented not being there for Steffy. She wondered why Carter and Steffy went ahead with his momentous step without her. Daphne wanted to know what was really going on.
Daphne Rose recounted how she lost her mind when she learned that she couldn’t conceive. Carter told his wife that she should be over the moon about Steffy being pregnant. Steffy concurred that Daphne Rose should have been included. “What Carter and I did was wrong…you deserve the truth,” Steffy said.
Steffy told Daphne Rose that if she only knew what happened. Daphne said that she believed she knew. She said that Steffy went ahead with the implantation so she didn’t hurt her feelings. Daphne Rose told her pal that she had nothing to apologize for. She thanked her for giving her and Carter a child.
Carter sat Daphne Rose and told her that there were no lengths that he wouldn’t go to for her. He apologized for keeping this from her, but he suggested that they focus on their future family, the child growing inside of Steffy.
Daphne Rose said that they had to wait for tests to see if the implantation worked. Carter covered and said he was getting ahead of himself. Daphne Rose thanked Steffy for being the best friend that anyone could ask for. Daphne Rose hugged Steffy, as Steffy and Carter looked at each other. Then, Steffy looked away.
Dinner for Four
At Ridge and Brooke’s, Brooke told Ridge that Donna reached out and wanted them to join her and Eric for dinner. Brooke lamented that Donna is now her only family, as Katie has turned on them. Brooke said that Katie’s actions were heartbreaking. Ridge said that Bill did quite a number on her. Brooke said that she didn’t want to think about Hope or Katie; she wanted to focus on something happier, like Daphne and Carter having a baby with their surrogate.
Brooke pointed out that Steffy and Finn had been through a lot; Ridge agreed that the love between them is strong. Brooke noted that love conquers all, referring to herself and Ridge. Brooke said that it’ll be the most exciting time for Daphne and Carter once their surrogate is expecting.
Brooke told Ridge she loved being his wife. Ridge bantered back with Brooke. She said they truly are blessed as they have children and grandchildren, as well as their love for each other. Brooke lamented being estranged from Katie and Hope.
Fashion Forward
In the design room at Forrester Creations, RJ and Electra talked about keeping Electra by Electra Forrester a secret. RJ said it’s hard to keep quiet as they’re so excited by the venture. Electra credited RJ for the line; in turn, he told Electra that she was the inspiration.
RJ told Electra to just take the compliment. RJ added that Zende just needed to focus, and he was confident that he would. Electra appeared preoccupied. She told RJ about the run-in with Dylan that she had earlier in the day. Electra didn’t see things with Dylan changing anytime soon, but she chose to focus on the new fashion line.
Electra wondered if Zende knew how excited she was that he was working with them. RJ noted that Zende was rightfully upset that Hope left Zende hanging when she left for Logan Designs. RJ said that the Electra line was reinvigorating Zende. He believed that the three of them could be a team for years. Electra thanked RJ again for believing in her.
The Hard Sell
At Logan Designs, Katie invited Zende to join the team. She added that Deke needs Zende. Katie said that Zende was upset about Hope walking out at Forrester, which killed Hope For The Future. Katie offered Zende a home, a chance to work with Hope again. She promised him that he would not regret it.
Katie referred to RJ as the “golden boy,” and predicted that Zende would be passed over for him. Hope told Zende that he was a great designer. Deke entered, surprised to see Zende there. Katie revealed that she and Hope were trying to get Zende on board. He said he hadn’t decided yet.

Deke said he’d love it if Zende came to Logan Designs. He knew it was a big decision. Deke said that it’d be an honor to work with him again. After Deke left, Zende said that if he were to leave Forrester, there’d be fallout with his family. He pointed out that Brooke would go nuts. Katie noted that you can’t make business decisions based on personal feelings. Katie told Zende that he knew where to find them. Katie promised Zende his career would shine if he came to Logan Designs.
What will Zende do? Is Daphne Rose going to figure out how Carter's and Steffy's baby was conceived? Is RJ going to succeed in getting Electra to forget all about Will Spencer and think of a future with him instead?
