Steffy: B&B Recap October 7: Daphne Wants To Celebrate Her New Baby in Eric's Office

Soaps are all about secrets, and The Bold and the Beautiful has officially set the stage for a big one that can play out for years! On the episode that aired on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, Carter and Steffy kept their secret, Zende remained pensive about the future, and Will and Dylan agreed that Katie’s interruptions can be eerie!

Thank You for Being a Friend

Daphne hugged Steffy and thanked her for giving her and Carter a baby. She said that she wanted to scream. Daphne agreed with Carter that they should wait till Steffy is officially pregnant. Carter said that he and Daphne Rose were going to have their child sooner than they realized. Carter and Steffy shot knowing looks.

After Steffy exited, Carter asked Daphne if she was happy that Steffy was their surrogate. Daphne said she was shocked and also filled with joy and hope. Daphne added that she was a little disappointed that Carter and Steffy kept this enormous secret from her.

Carter said that he was trying to protect his wife. Daphne Rose said that she didn’t even know that Steffy had agreed to be the surrogate, let alone that she’d had the procedure done. Daphne said that Steffy was giving them the biggest gift – a baby. “I’m so incredibly grateful,” Daphne said.

Daphne recalled having dinner with Finn, Carter, and Steffy. She was surprised to learn from Carter that Finn didn’t know that Steffy was going to act as a surrogate and donor. Daphne Rose noted that both Steffy and Finn’s marriage and hers and Carter’s marriage are all built on honesty.

Daphne asked if Carter was there when the transfer was made. Carter glanced at the sofa in Eric’s office, recalling his tryst with Steffy. Then, Daphne Rose locked the door and led Carter to the sofa, not knowing that’s where her child was truly conceived.

Daphne suggested dipping into Eric’s secret stash of scotch. She playfully pushed Carter on the sofa and suggested that they make love. Carter said he wanted Daphne Rose, but not there. Daphne Rose suggested that they celebrate at home. She talked about how great it would be to be parents. Daphne Rose said they didn’t know for sure that Steffy was pregnant, not knowing ironically that Steffy is pregnant. Daphne Rose and Carter hugged and told each other that they loved each other.

Pregnant Pause

Taylor arrived at Steffy’s house to find her there. Taylor noticed that Steffy was not herself. She asked her daughter if she was all right. Taylor said that Steffy looked exhausted. “Thanks,” quipped Steffy. Taylor said she only has her daughter’s welfare in mind.

Steffy deflected her mother’s concern for her by pointing out that Taylor turned Deacon down. Taylor accused her daughter of deflecting. She wanted to know if something was going on that she didn’t know about!

Steffy said that she was fine. “You don’t have to worry about me, please,” Steffy told her mom. Taylor answered a call from a patient. She told whoever called that she had a minute. Meanwhile, Steffy sat on her bed. “I’m really pregnant,” she said in voiceover. Then, Steffy flashed back to telling Carter that she was pregnant, but not with Finn’s child. It’s Carter’s! Then she remembered Carter suggesting that Steffy be a donor for Daphne Rose and him. Steffy remembered Daphne Rose hugging her and thanking her. Steffy held her tummy.

RJ and Electra, Power Couple

Zende joined RJ and Electra in the design room across from the CEO's office. Electra was thrilled about the future. RJ said that Ridge and Steffy get the vision for "Electra by Electra Forrester." Electra said that she was grateful for RJ’s support and also for Zende’s support.

Electra raved at one of Zende’s designs. Zende wasn’t sure that RJ agreed. RJ said that he did. RJ noted that communication was key and added that he knew Electra so well. Zende wondered if he’d be answering to RJ.

RJ noted that the work Zende and Hope did was amazing. RJ said that he believed that he, Zende, and Electra could be a great team, too. Electra said that she wanted the Electra line to make a statement. “We need you, Zende,” Electra said.

After Zende left, Electra raved about his fashion. RJ said that Zende and Hope are in the past. He promised Electra that her line was the future!

Mother and Son Reunion

Katie walked into the beach house, snarking that she wasn’t surprised to see Dylan there. Dylan said that she’d done what Katie asked. Katie said that she and Hope talked to Zende, and they were able to work it out. Dylan asked Katie if Zende was leaving Forrester. Will arrived home before Katie could answer Dylan’s inquiry about Zende.

“Melissa and I were just having a little chat,” Katie said. She admitted that Dylan came through for her. Will wondered if that meant Katie was going to accept Dylan. Katie reminded Dylan that everything needs to be kept a secret. Katie said that Zende was going to need some time. She wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but Katie said that she and Hope made a strong pitch.

Will stated that it was time for Katie to embrace Dylan into the family. After Katie left, Will and Dylan sat outside. Dylan thanked Will for standing up for her. They kissed.
