B&B Recap September 10: Surprise! Steffy Is Pregnant!

On the Thursday, September 10, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy took a pregnancy test and got the worst news of her life.

Steffy was alarmed when she walked in with groceries to find that Finn was home. He explained that she was doing some administrative work first before leaving. Steffy said she still felt a little tired, but she was fine to unload her packages. When Finn took a call, Steffy stared at the pregnancy test she had just bought.

When Finn returned to the room, he convinced Steffy to take it easy if she wasn't feeling well. "It was nice hanging with Daphne and Carter last night. It made me appreciate how lucky we are to have kids of our own. I'm happy they're considering surrogacy," Finn said.

Before Finn left, he gave Steffy a speech about love and commitment. "Monaco was proof that our love will survive. There are no lasting consequences," Finn said.

Well, Steffy decided to see if it was true. She shook and talked herself down from the ledge as her pregnancy test cooked on the counter. When the test was done, Steffy learned that she would have a lasting consequence from her Monaco trip after all.

In Eric's office, Carter filled Ridge in on the dinner party at Steffy's house. He was grateful to Finn for discussing fertility options with them. Ridge assured Carter that there would be a baby in his and Daphne's future. Carter believed that, but he knew Daphne wanted a baby that was biologically hers. They were thinking about using a donor, but just were not sure. Ridge was encouraging.

"The moment you lock eyes with this kid, it doesn't matter where it came from," he said.

Electra is Electra

When Dylan walked into the design office, she tried to walk right back out after seeing Electra there. Electra told her staff to go so she could talk to Dylan. She immediately told her "best friend" that she had been with Will the night before. Dylan tried not to show her shock when she asked what Will had wanted when he stopped by Eric's house.

"He came over, even when he knew he wasn't supposed to. I don't know. I guess he was just willing to risk it," Electra said. She also made sure to tell Dylan that Will said he still loved Electra. Dylan claimed she knew that already, but Electra wasn't done.

"You knew that he loved me and you still decided to sleep with him. Do you have any self-respect?" Electra asked. Dylan insisted that she loved Will, so Electra asked if Will had said it back. "What's happening between the two of you right now is just sex," Electra said. "Why would you be with a man who doesn't love you?"

All Dylan could do was once again point out to Electra that she was the one who broke up with Will. "So what? Suddenly that makes you fair game. You must know how messed up that is, right?" Electra wondered. "If you had any shred of self-respect or decency, you would end this fling with Will."

Just Like Brooke

In the Logan office, Katie could see that Will was distracted. "Let me guess. You were thinking of Electra," Katie said. Will wanted to change the subject to Dylan. Katie admitted that Dylan was driven and smart, so Will wanted to know what the problem was.

Katie finally admitted that Dylan reminded her of Brooke. "Let me tell you what I see when I look at Dylan...there's a certain code we should live by. When your best friend, or let's say, your sister, is in love with someone? Even if they break up, that person should be off limits forever. But that's not what Dylan did. Dylan was willing to crawl over her best friend to get what she wants," Katie said.

Katie also pointed out that it started long before Brooke met Bill. "Brooke knew what she wanted and she didn't care who she hurt to get it. As long as she was following her heart, it was completely justified. She used what she needed to, her sexuality, to infiltrate the Forrester family and I don't want that to happen to you," she added.

Will pointed out that Electra and he were no longer together. She kept dumping him, remember? Katie insisted that Dylan was just like Brooke because she saw an opportunity and would do whatever she could to grab onto it.

After her talk with Will, Katie headed straight for the Forrester mansion where her sisters bullied and abused her. She wanted to talk to Electra about the Will and Dylan situation.
