Steffy and Carter's plan to forget their night of intimacy on The Bold and the Beautiful came to an end. Steffy took a second pregnancy test, which also came back positive on the Friday, September 11, 2026, episode. Also, Katie made a case for Will and Electra, while Dylan came clean with Will about Electra.
The Rabbit Died
Steffy was horrified to find a positive result on her home pregnancy test. Steffy said that the test had to be wrong! Steff took another test and freaked out when the results for the second test also came back positive.
Ridge assured Carter that he was going to become a parent, and he added that any kid would be so lucky to call him dad. Ridge assured Carter that it was all going to work out. Carter thought that Ridge meant Daphne Rose when he thanked him for being there for her. Ridge clarified that he meant Steffy for when she came back from Monaco. There were other people she could have leaned on, but she chose Carter. Ridge left. Carter felt the enormity and irony of Ridge’s words.
Carter got a text from Daphne Rose, asking him to talk about surrogacy. Carter flashed back to waking up in the office on the sofa next to Steffy. Then, Steffy interrupted him. She said that she had to tell Finn what happened, now more than ever.
Carter wanted to know what had changed. Why did she want to tear both of their marriages apart? Steffy said she couldn’t put it out of her mind. “I’m pregnant,” Steffy told Carter.
Katie Sparked Electra
Katie showed up at the Forrester mansion to see Electra. She told Will’s mom that she and her son have broken up and he’s moved on. Katie said she knew how that felt, but she urged Electra not to give up on him. Katie said that she was to blame because of the Forrester/Logan fashion wars. Electra said it’s more than Will accidentally hitting Eric. He’s turned to Dylan.
Katie told Electra that she was the type of girl that she’d want for her son. Electra said that they couldn’t go back as Will had slept with Dylan. Katie said maybe they could build something better. Katie filled Electra in on Darcy and how she didn’t know about Dylan’s travails.
Electra and Katie wondered why Dylan took help from Will, but not her own mother. Katie wanted to know what kind of woman sleeps with a man who is in love with her best friend. Electra said that Dylan broke major “girl code.” Katie said that Will turned to Dylan on the rebound. “She’s not you. She’ll never be you,” Katie told Electra. She urged Electra to forgive Will. Electra said my pride can’t take it. Katie said Electra needed to admit her feelings.
Katie gently pointed out that part of what went down was Electra’s fault. Electra said that Katie wasn’t being harsh, but she wanted to get past her feelings for Will. Katie said that she should forget about what happened with Dylan and Will. She noted that Dylan got a job at Bikini, Will’s main hangout.
Electra said that if she got Dylan fired, then Will would invite her back into his home. Katie suggested Electra take charge of her own happiness. “Don’t give up on Will,” Katie implored. Katie countered that she had to honor her place at the company. Katie apologized. She didn’t mean to rub the Hope For The Future Diamond in Electra’s face. Electra said that as long as Will was seeing Dylan, she could never be with him. Katie said that Electra was No. 1 in Will’s life. Then, Katie grabbed her purse and left.
Dylan and Spencer
Will took a shower outside his beach house on the deck. Dylan showed up and tossed him a towel. He said the waves were great. Dylan noted that Will had feelings for Electra. Dylan said that she ran into Electra at work, and it wasn’t an easy talk. Will declared that she dumped him, and he was moving on. Dylan wondered if that was truly the case as he visited her at Eric’s and told her that he still loved her.
Will said that Electra was wrong to call Dylan evil. Dylan said that she didn’t mean to fall for Will. It just happened. Dylan said that she wasn’t naïve. She wishes that weren’t the case, but she understood. Dylan said that she hoped Will knew how much she cared about him. They snuggled a bit.
Will said that they didn’t have to talk about it. Dylan felt it was healthy to be transparent. She told Will he could take as much time as he wanted, and she could go. He urged her to stay. She hoped that he'd ask her to remain. They joked if it was Top 5 or Top 3 of her favorite people in the world. She told Will he wasn’t a boring Bel-Air cookie-cutter guy. Dylan quipped that she was becoming a better surfer than he was. He suggested a “surf off.”

Will conceded that Dylan may be gaining, but she wasn’t a better surfer than he was. He did admire her guts. Will was glad that Dylan accepted his support. She thanked Will and said that she was happy to be there. There didn’t have to be labels, and she promised never to walk out on him.
