Enter Darcy Dylan
At Bikini, Dylan finished her text to Katie. Then, Darcy entered, exasperated from her flight. She asked Dylan how much money she needed. Darcy said that being a single mom wasn’t easy, as she had to take out some loans after Dylan’s dad walked out. Darcy praised Dylan for coming to Los Angeles and following her dreams. Darcy added that her credit cards were maxed out, and she spent money to get to L.A. But she gave Dylan $500.00. Dylan told her mom that her gesture was sweet, but she did not need it. “You just wanted to see me?” Darcy replied. She didn’t know what to say to her daughter.
Darcy said that she wanted to go to Santa Monica Pier, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and a big studio tour. But first, she needed to find a cheap place to stay in town. Dylan insisted that her mom stay with her.
Then, Darcy spied Deacon, calling him a “tall drink of water.” Darcy thanked Deacon for giving her daughter a job. “You mean sister?” Deacon charmingly said, adding that Dylan was his best employee. Darcy asked Deacon if all the men in Los Angeles were as handsome as he was. “Absolutely not,” Deacon deadpanned. Dylan saw that her mother was flirting shamelessly with her Bikini boss.
Darcy told Deacon that she was in Louisville, Kentucky, and that she had a derby collection in her bedroom. She mentioned that Deacon should see it. Darcy told Deacon, as he was leaving, that she was free that night. Dylan told Darcy that Deacon was in a relationship. Darcy wasn’t surprised, given Deacon’s jawline and eyes. Darcy said that Deacon didn’t have a wedding ring, so that was a challenge to her! Dylan told her mom that there had been a reason she hadn’t heard from her. Dylan said that a lot had happened in her life, and there were things that her mom should know.
Dylan told Deacon that his nachos were amazing. Deacon said that they were on him. Then, he gave Dylan the rest of the day off. Darcy was touched. She admired the view of the Pacific. Darcy suggested to Dylan that they go surfing. A waiter brought over drinks for Dylan and Darcy.
Life’s A Beach
Will, wearing a bathing suit, came in from the beach and picked up some paperwork. His eye caught a photo of Electra and him, the same picture that Katie rubbed Dylan’s face in. Then, Dylan showed up and shared that Electra knew that she and Will had taken things to the next level.
Dylan said her mom was coming to town, and Will said he’d like to meet her. Dylan shared that Katie wanted to meet her mom, too. Will said Katie wanted to do some awkward digging. He mused that Katie and Darcy might become good friends.
After Dylan left for her shift at Bikini, Wyatt entered the beach house. Will said that Dylan worked at both Bikini and Forrester, and on top of that, her mother was coming to town.
Wyatt wasn’t surprised to learn that Katie wanted to meet Dylan’s mom. Will wasn’t sure if Wyatt knew that Katie could be intense. “Oh, I know. Katie,” Wyatt said.
Designing Woman
In the design office, RJ asked Electra what was wrong. She told him that Dylan and Will had been intimate. RJ embraced Electra, who was clearly upset. Electra couldn’t believe that Will had moved on. She said it’d be painful as she was always going to love Will.
RJ said that he’d always be there for her. She changed the subject by saying she was excited about the youth line. RJ said it wasn’t just any line – it was hers, Electra by Electra Forrester. RJ reassured Electra that her line would be epic and that it would happen, but he cautioned her that it had to be a secret from everyone at Logan, especially you know who. Electra nodded in agreement.

At Spencer Publications, Katie recounted to Bill that she chastised a silk distributor about the rate that was promised, and said she’d be looking elsewhere. Bill thought he was looking into a mirror. Then, the subject shifted to Will and Dylan. Katie was skeptical. She told Bill that we are all products of our parents, so that was why she wanted to meet Dylan. Then, Katie got Dylan’s text, suggesting a meeting with Darcy at Bikini.
Next, Katie entered Bikini. Darcy called out that she knew that she was going to meet someone famous! She wanted to get out her phone to take a picture. Darcy told Katie that she couldn’t believe she was meeting her. A suspicious Katie wondered why Darcy didn’t know that Katie wanted to meet with her. Darcy didn’t know, truly. Katie said that Dylan was seeing her son, Will Spencer. Darcy turned to her daughter and said, “You did not tell me that your boyfriend was Katie and Bill Spencer’s son!”
