B&B Recap September 24: Will Informs Katie That Dylan Is His Girlfriend

Will and Dylan's relationship is deepening as he's calling her his girlfriend, much to Katie's dismay, on The Bold and the Beautiful. The recap for Thursday, September 24, has Will's mom also thinking about hiring another unhappy Forrester Creations employee. Meanwhile, RJ said all the wrong things to his cousin, Zende.

Will Declares That Dylan's His Girlfriend

Dylan and Will began their day with coffee, as they contemplated going back to bed. Dylan announced that she had a confession to make. She revealed that she set the clocks an hour ahead. Will realized he had an extra hour to fill. He picked Dylan up in his arms and brought her over to the sofa as they kissed.

Meanwhile, Darcy, eating some toast, called Dylan and got her voicemail. She said she wanted to hear from her and to pick up some bread. Back at the beach house, Will said Dylan was making it difficult for him to get to work on time. Dylan suggested unplugging and never leaving the beach house. Dylan added that she had never been happier. Will concurred because Dylan had a great job, a guy who was super into her, and her mom was in town. Dylan didn't want to talk about her mom. She did say that Darcy thinks the world of Will.

"You're my girl, Dylan," Will said. "You're pretty amazing." He added that he got to know Dylan better since her mom came to town. Dylan pointed out that Darcy wanted to know why she didn't come home last night. Will teased that Darcy would not want to know what her daughter had been doing last night.

Dylan said that she wouldn't spend every night at Will's. He told her he was hoping that she would, and that they should set the clocks back another hour.

Dressed for the day, Dylan urged Will to go to work. He suggested that she stop by to see him at his place of employment. Dylan said that might be a problem as she worked for the competition. Will told her not to worry. Dylan said okay, but suggested that Will talk to Katie first. Will said it was only a matter of time before Katie saw the things in Dylan that he did. Then, Dylan left. She turned and smiled before walking away.

Dylan arrived back at her apartment. Darcy was thrilled that her daughter had spent the day with Will and that he had invited her to visit him at his work. Dylan wanted to make a good impression. She hoped that Katie would accept her.

Katie, at Logan Designs, was talking to an assistant on the phone about a meeting and asked if the assistant had seen Will yet. Then, Deke and Hope entered with coffee. Katie wondered if either of them had seen Will. Katie marveled at the numbers that Hope's work was producing. Hope said that Deke has interview requests. Katie suggested that they have the p.r. folks vet the requests. Katie urged coming up with a compelling vision for their next line.

Katie raved about Hope and Deke's work. She was happy that they made Logan the family company she knew it could be. Hope wished her mother, Brooke, could have appreciated her. Hope said it couldn't be further from the truth that Katie "stole" her. Katie said that Eric worked for her after he felt forced out. Hope mused that someone else at Forrester Creations feels unappreciated.

Hope lamented not telling Zende that she was leaving Forrester, given the connection between a creative director (her) and a designer (him). Katie pointed out that Zende has been in the business his whole life. Hope pointed out that Zende must feel like all his hard work was for nothing. Deke noted that Zende has such fresh ideas. Hope said she wanted to reach out, but Zende has not responded.

Deke wondered if Logan Designs could hit projected sales figures. He said he'd need help, hinting that Zende would be a great addition. Katie concurred. Hope wasn't sure what Zende was up to at Forrester Creations. Hope said that she'd feel even worse if Zende were doing nothing at Forrester. Katie suggested that Hope reach out to Zende.

Will showed up at work and apologized for his tardiness. He said he was with Dylan. Katie said that she'd do anything to protect Will. He told his mother that he wanted to show his girlfriend where he worked. Katie was shocked to hear Dylan described that way. Katie said that she would do everything necessary to ensure Will's safety and happiness. She added that, of course, Dylan does everything Will wants since he's her big savior. Katie stated that "Melissa Dylan" was not Spencer material. She held her ground.

Zende's Designs

In the design office at Forrester Creations, RJ took a look at Zende's confidential designs. RJ said that Electra by Electra Forrester will take a direct shot at Logan. Zende countered that the line was more than that. RJ pointed out that taking a swipe at Logan is a part of this.

RJ told a frustrated Zende that they were going to create something new. Even his frustration would help. Zende said that he didn't want to feel that way. RJ asked Zende to use his passion to help make RJ's line with Electra a hit!

Zende said that he didn't want to talk to Hope. RJ said they needed to create a collection of killer designs, and then they could push Hope out of the way. RJ noted Zende's current design just needed to be sharpened and given focus. Zende was surprised by that remark.

RJ countered that he said the design was good. He added that there was no need to force anything. Zende took offense. RJ said that they were all on the same team. Zende said that it sounded like it was RJ's team. RJ said the Electra line was his idea, but he wanted Zende to be a part of that. He urged Zende to work with him. RJ told Zende to get his focus back and then left the room. Zende started to race after RJ, but then he decided to just shut the door.
