The Bold and the Beautiful: B&B Recap September 28: Katie Wants Dylan to Steal Zende

Carter isn't the only person on The Bold and the Beautiful who is coming up with schemes and plans. On the Monday, September 28, episode of B&B, Katie came up with an idea that will test Dylan's loyalty. Also, Ridge gave support to Zende while Hope and Deke talked about Zende and Hope For The Future!

Katie Has No Use for Dylan...Maybe

Dylan told Katie that she’d leave if that’s what Katie wanted. Will said that Dylan should stay. He told his mother that Dylan was his girlfriend and that he was going to need her to accept that. Katie didn’t back down. She said that she has known women like Dylan all her life. Katie brought up Dylan stabbing her best friend, Electra, in the back. Will maintained that he hadn’t done anything with Dylan that he didn’t want to.

Will said that he was giving Dylan a tour of his workplace. Katie accused Dylan of maybe being a spy. Will said that Katie has let Brooke come there. What about that? Dylan said that the last thing she wanted was to cause trouble between Will and his mother.

Will said that Dylan made him happy, and he hoped that he’d made himself clear about her not going anywhere.

Dylan quipped that Will had a “cute, quaint, little place” that he had at Spencer. She hastened to add that it was luxurious and beautiful. Will wished that his father, Bill, and his brothers were there to see Dylan. Will noted that Wyatt calls her “sweet and sexy sauce.” Dylan and Will smooched. She thanked him for sticking up for her.

Ridge Gives Hope For Zende’s Future

At Forrester Creations, Ridge tried to make peace with Zende. He told him his designs would be back on the runway, but that Hope For The Future was gone. Zende expressed his frustration over stepping up time after time, and now, Electra and RJ are giving him orders. “It’s not right, Ridge, and you know it,” Zende stated.

RJ apologized to Zende. He told his cousin that he was an incredible designer and that he was a vital part of the Electra team. “As long as I’m taking your orders,” Zende noted. Ridge asked RJ to give him and Zende the room alone. “Let’s talk,” Ridge told his nephew.

Zende told Ridge that Brooke blamed Hope for leaving, but that it wasn’t Hope’s fault. It was everyone else’s for killing Hope For The Future. Ridge said that Hope put a knife in their backs. Ridge said this was about Zende.

Ridge said that what Hope did was selfish. Zende said that Hope was reaching out to him. Ridge told Zende that he’d have a great career at Forrester Creations that had nothing to do with Hope For The Future.

Katie's Big Design

Hope and Deke examined some fashions. Deke said making some tweaks wouldn’t be a problem. Hope said something was missing – something that was a part of Hope For The Future. Hope made some suggestions to Deke’s design. He agreed that her idea was perfect. Hope thanked the model, who exited.

Alone, Deke said that Hope’s note was great, but he felt that something else was missing. “I’m trying the best I can,” Deke said. Hope said that this had nothing to do with Deke or his talent. Hope said this was something – or someone – she was missing.

Deke said that what Hope was missing was Zende. Deke got a text and left to address changes. He invited Hope to go with him, but she told her brother that he had this. She noted he was a great designer and brother.

Hope looked at a text that she had sent Zende, asking if they could talk. It had gone unanswered. Then, Katie entered. She told Hope that she might have a way to get Zende to respond to her – through Will’s new girlfriend, Melissa Dylan.

Hope wondered what Katie meant by that. Katie said that Will thinks that Dylan is his new girlfriend. Katie quipped that she was “super-thrilled” to have Dylan in the building. Katie explained that she had an idea to test Dylan’s loyalty, which could get Zende over to Logan Designs.

Katie went on to explain that since Hope wasn’t making any roads with Zende, perhaps Dylan could be their messenger and reach Zende on their behalf.

Will urged Dylan to get up on the runway. He told her that she’d put all the other models to shame. He told her to put on a jacket that was hanging on a wardrobe rack. Will used a remote to start the music. Dylan began modeling on the runway. Will howled. They were having fun. They kissed. “I really like it here,” Dylan said. Will said it was the absence of the overbearing Ridge and Eric Forrester and their outdated ways. Will said that Dylan should come to Logan. Dylan said that Forrester has been good to her. They kissed again.

Will got a text that summoned him to a meeting. Dylan told him to go alone. She could find her way out. He told her to text him if she got lost. After Will left, Katie entered. “Nice jacket,” Katie quipped. Dylan told Katie that Will told her to put it on. Katie took the jacket back and told Dylan that she truly cared about proving herself to her. Dylan agreed. She started to leave.

Katie stopped her and said that there was one thing that she could do to take a first step to gaining her acceptance. “I want Zende Forrester here at Logan,” Katie said. “I need you to talk to him for us.”

Dylan was surprised that Katie wanted her help to steal yet another employee. Katie stated that she’d never stolen anything and told Dylan, “You better watch what you say, little girl.” Katie explained that Zende wasn’t returning Hope’s texts. “Hope and I just want to talk to him, that’s all!” Katie shrugged. She added that if Dylan does this, it’s her first step to proving her loyalty.
