It’s bright and sunny in Southern California, on The Bold and the Beautiful, but there’s a storm a brewin'! On the Wednesday, September 30, 2026, episode of B&B, Carter announced that he was ready to announce that Steffy was carrying his baby. Also, Katie surprised Dylan and told her to get the job with Zende done! Meanwhile, Ridge supported Zende.
Carter Asked Steffy to Lie
Steffy had a one-way phone call with Finn about his medical conference. She told her husband she missed him and she loved him. Then, Carter arrived at Steffy’s home. They recapped their dilemma – she got pregnant one night, and now, she’s pregnant with his child.
Carter suggested that they move forward with his plan to cover up their night of passion. Carter said that they were in pain. Steffy said it didn’t matter how many excuses they came up with. She added it was torture keeping this from Finn. Carter said he didn’t come over to put pressure on Steffy. She sighed that she’d lost faith in her husband and his ability to protect him and her kids. Steffy noted that Sheila finally succeeded in breaking them up. Carter said that while what they did was wrong, something beautiful came out of it. He said that Steffy could give him and Daphne the child that they so desperately want.
Steffy said that maybe Carter could twist what had happened into a beautiful fate, but she couldn’t see it that way. Carter said that Steffy was already a viable candidate to be a surrogate (as she was already pregnant). He kept calling Steffy’s pregnancy a gift. She could have the baby, and then, they could all move on from this.
Steffy asked Carter if he knew that they were playing with people’s lives. Carter said that Steffy’s baby would be loved and cherished. Steffy said, of course, she wanted that for him and Daphne. She was there when Li gave Daphne the sad news about her fertility. Carter said that this was the answer. They have the way out that they’re looking for. Carter said that they had to tell Daphne that Steffy was pregnant because she had the procedure done.
Zende Needs a Hug
Daphne, Ridge, and Brooke talked about Katie’s fragrance line that may be in development. Brooke marveled at her sister’s deviousness. Then, Zende arrived. Ridge said that Katie wasn’t going to undermine Forrester Creations ever again. Brooke said that she will move forward without Katie.
Zende said RJ and Electra were motivated and ambitious, but they had no experience. Ridge agreed. That’s why they needed Zende. He said he loved being a part of a team and pitching in when he was needed. Everyone was excited about Zende being the lead designer on Hope For The Future. He asked what about me now that Hope is gone?
Ridge said that the Electra line will help Forrester Creations. Brooke said that they need to focus on the younger demographic. Zende gently suggested that RJ and Electra were not the ones to do it. Brooke said RJ and Electra are in sync. Zende pointed out the same way he was with Hope.
Zende said that Ridge and Brooke were just trying to pump him up by putting him with RJ and Electra. Brooke said that Katie and Hope’s actions hurt the family and the business. She asked Zende not to take it out on RJ and Electra. Zende shared that he could relate to how Brooke felt. Ridge told Zende that he loved him and that he was a part of the Forrester family.
Monster-in-Law
Dylan was taking a shower outside in a bikini on Will’s deck. She replayed in her mind Katie ordering her to get to Zende. Then, she was startled by Katie, who commented that it was “shocking” that Dylan was in a bikini. She wanted to know why Dylan wasn’t at Forrester, talking to Zende?
Katie threw a towel at Dylan and accused her of feeling very at home at Will’s house. “You know what I expect,” Katie snarked at Dylan. “Make it happen.” Katie left upon hearing Will’s car pull up. Will greeted Dylan with a kiss. He asked her if she was distraught.
Dylan shared that Katie wanted him to talk to Zende. Will said that his mother had recruited her to get to Zende. Will said it’d be a major coup to get Zende over to Logan. He asked Dylan if there was more? Dylan said she loved Will, and she saw a future for them. Dylan said that she had to win Katie over. Will put the pieces together. He figured out that if Dylan did this for Katie, then she’d give her a chance.

Will was not happy that Katie was trying to make Dylan a double agent. Dylan said that she wanted Will to know that she was genuine in her love for him. Will knew that. Dylan said that Katie didn’t. Will said that he was with Dylan because he liked her, and he liked who he was when he was with her. He said Dylan was amazing. Will said he respected his mother’s opinion, but she needed to respect his. Then, they kissed.
Katie returned to Logan Designs as Hope wrapped up with a model, Jasmine. Hope said that Deke could use some support – like Zende. Hope said that Deke was working night and day to stay on track. Hope said that Deke executed her ideas well. Katie said getting Zende over to Logan was the solution. Hope agreed, but she asked if Katie could get him away from Forrester. Katie said that she told Dylan to go back to Zende and get the job done.
