The Bold and the Beautiful: B&B Recap September 8: Steffy Nearly Faints, Will Begs Electra (Again)

Steffy started to show how much stress she was under on The Bold and the Beautiful episode that aired on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She got emotional, as did Electra and Will, at the Forrester mansion, and Dylan gave Darcy the scoop on Luna and more!

Steffy was flattered by Daphne's praise of her marriage to Finn. Daphne said that talking to Steffy and Finn in their home is better than discussing it in a doctor's office. Finn quipped that their food was better than the hospital cafeteria's, too. Daphne added how close Steffy and Carter were

Finn and Daphne noticed Steffy and Carter whispering. They wanted to know what was up with their spouses. Finn suggested addressing the elephant in the room, referring to what happened in Monaco with Sheila. Finn said he took full responsibility for letting Steffy down. Steffy dropped her wine glass and spilled wine all over the table. She apologized profusely.

Carter told Daphne that she didn't have to share their troubles, but she went ahead anyway. Daphne said it was over and she was headed back to Paris, but they survived, as did Finn and Steffy. Finn noted that Steffy was being quiet and hadn't eaten. She said she didn't have an appetite. Finn asked what was wrong.

Then, Steffy got a little woozy. She asked if it was hot in there as she stood up. Daphne asked what Steffy needed. Finn said that she'd been getting headaches. She went to sit back down. Carter suggested cutting the night short. Daphne said that she couldn't think of anyone better than to share her news. Daphne said that they need to use a donor egg. Finn said that it was a matter of when -- not if -- that they'd have a baby.

Where There's Electra, There's Will

At the Forrester mansion, Electra, who had finished a nightly swim, glanced at her phone and saw a message from Will, which asked if they could talk. Eric entered and showed his enthusiasm for the Electra line. Electra thanked her Uncle Eric for the great opportunity he was giving her. Eric suggested celebrating with ice cream. On a more serious note, Eric urged Electra against letting Will hurt her opportunity.

At the beach house, a shirtless Will thought about his next move. Next, Will re-entered the room and put his shirt on. He looked at his phone and wondered why Electra hadn't gotten back to him. Eric urged Electra not to let Will ruin her future. Then, he left. Electra heard a knock at the door. It was Will. He said he had to see her. Will told Electra that he missed her and asked if she could come in for one second. She left him in. Will asked if they could at least be friends. Electra said that it wasn't just her family anymore. She said that she knew what had happened between her and Dylan.

Electra said so much had happened between them -- family pressure, Will's temper, and now him and Dylan. Will asked Electra to stop shutting him out. Electra said that she had been doing a lot of soul searching. She said she put a lot of the blame on Will, but she deserved some of it, too. Will said that he knew that Electra still loved him. Electra pushed Will out the door after she heard Eric's voice. She told him goodbye, and she shut the door.

Dylan Gives Darcy the 411

Dylan showed Darcy her modest apartment. Darcy was just happy that she wasn't living in her car anymore. Darcy said that Katie was being overprotective, but she was still a snob. Darcy said that it was good that Will stood up for her, too. Dylan said he was cute, but that Will was also caring and honest. She said they have a bond and have grown closer.

Darcy got emotional after finding out that Dylan had been held at gunpoint by a lunatic (Luna). Dylan said that she knew that she'd be okay. Darcy hugged Dylan and called her her little ballerina. Dylan said all the bad stuff was behind her.

Darcy asked what Katie meant by her best friend. Dylan said that her pal was Electra, but she lost her. Darcy knew about Will and Electra's romance. Dylan said that she never meant to come between them. She added that there was so much more to the story, including outside forces. Dylan said that she and Electra tried to stay friends. Darcy asked if Dylan wanted Will back. Dylan knew on some level that Will wanted Electra back.
