On the Wednesday, September 9, 2026, episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Steffy survived the dinner party filled with tension only to have a shocking epiphany! Meanwhile, Will debated his parents, Bill and Katie, over his love life, and Eric gave Electra a stern warning.
Steffy Takes a Pregnant Pause
As the dinner wrapped up, Finn and Daphne suggested that they do this more often. Finn said that he was confident that someday Carter and Daphne Rose would get the baby that they wanted. Over coffee, Daphne Rose said that she and Carter would become parents, just not the way that they wanted.
Finn warned the future parents of the "terrible twos" but admitted that he and Steffy got lucky with Kelly and Hayes. Daphne Rose confirmed Finn's theory that Daphne Rose and Carter are leaning towards surrogacy. Finn said he was a fan of adoption (as he himself was adopted). Finn showed Daphne Rose on his tablet some places they could search for donors. Women can be filtered by education and other specifics.
Daphne Rose thanked Finn for showing her the information. She told Carter that for the baby to be half his, then surrogacy is the way to go. Daphne noted that she couldn't give her husband the baby they were dreaming about. Carter said that wasn't true because they'd be bringing a baby into the world; he promised they'd get through this and anything that came their way. They embraced while Steffy stayed silent.
Finn said that it won't be the way they envisioned, but the day that Carter and Daphne held their child, nothing else would matter. Steffy added that Daphne Rose and Carter are connected. Daphne thanked the couple for their support. She asked Finn for the website on using a surrogate.
Daphne added that she hadn't had a lot of friends in her life, but she was grateful for Steffy. She knew that Steffy was there for her and Carter. Steffy said that she'd do anything so that Daphne Rose and Carter could have the life they deserved.
After Carter and Daphne Rose left, Finn apologized for springing the night on Steffy again. He asked if Carter seemed out of it? Steffy said maybe a little. Finn asked Steffy if she was okay. He noticed she seemed sweaty and pale. Finn asked his wife if shew was sick to her stomach. Steffy embraced Finn and flashed back to the dinner party, and then the night with Carter. A shocking realization came across Steffy's face. Her eyes bulged as she feared the worst!
Eric's Law
Eric returned to the living room and guessed that Electra had been talking to Will Spencer. Electra admitted that Will had come by. Eric suggested that she slam the door in Will's face.
Electra started to cry and confessed to missing Will -- a lot. Electra said that she missed being in his arms. Eric wondered if Electra minded the way Will put Dylan's needs above hers. "It hurts watching him move on," Electra lamented. She added that Dylan was moving in on Will even though this wasn't all her fault. Eric said let him! He advised Electra to open her eyes, put her feelings aside, and bury them forever.
"It's called 'first love' for a reason," Eric compassionately told his grand niece. He pointed out that other loves would follow, and that Will had already moved on. Eric called Will a Playboy like his father. Eric said he hated having a Spencer in his house. He told Electra that her professional success depended on not seeing Will Spencer.
Parental Guidance
Back at his beach house, Katie and Bill visited Will. "Are you alone?" Katie asked. She said that Will can talk to his parents about anything. Will couldn't believe how things had fallen apart between him and Electra.
Katie admitted to maybe coming on too strong, but she wouldn't apologize for coming on too strong. She's not ready to accept Dylan or Darcy, but she admitted that Dylan had it rough growing up. Katie said it didn't matter as her son was in love with Electra.
Bill said that he and Katie have their opinions, but they weren't there to dictate who he could hang out with; however, that wouldn't stop them from weighing in. Bill added that he didn't know Dylan as he hadn't met her, but he did point out that Electra was a Forrester, and Will was a Spencer.

"I don't want to give those clowns credit for ever being right about anything," Bill said. He added that in this case, though, they might be. Katie said that if Will didn't want to patch things up with Electra, he shouldn't let it be over an old rivalry. Will pointed out the rivalry wasn't "old." He added that he went to see Electra. Katie wanted to know what she said. Will said that Eric and the entire Forrester family are keeping Electra and him apart.
Alone, a shirtless Will popped open a drink and sat on his deck. He texted Electra, telling her that they could get through this. Just then, Electra saw Will's text. Eric guessed that it was Will. He told her to not answer it and to block him. Eric pointed out that Will had punched him and RJ. "He's just a hothead just like his father," Eric admonished. "No more Will Spencer."
