Be Careful What You Wish For: The Bold and the Beautiful Two Scoops for the Week of August 24th

Dreams are coming true on The Bold and the Beautiful. Maybe. Deacon had a dream, but it's not quite going as planned. Steffy had a dream, but she helped turn it into a nightmare. Carter has a dream, but like Steffy, he is also living a nightmare. Katie's about to realize that sometimes you do get what you asked for. And Dylan? Well, the world is her oyster...

Deacon Just Wants a Wife

Deacon Sharpre's dream came true when Sheila agreed to divorce him without issue so he could be with Taylor Hayes, his psychiatrist, who should lose her medical license and the woman he left Sheila for. Deacon clearly wanted to trade in one wife for another because he wasted no time getting down on one knee with Taylor. And she wasted no time essentially telling him, "Sorry, nope. Did you think I wanted you to divorce Sheila so I could marry you? No, I didn't want the shame of dating a married man."

Now, Taylor just could have not dated a married man and that would have taken care of the problem, but she didn't think that far. Now, Sheila and her eight-toe jokes aren't looking so bad to Deacon now. When Sheila paid Deacon a visit at Bikini Bar, it was clear as day that Deacon regretted his extremely foolish choice. It's a good thing this is a soap and not real life because Deacon's big mistake is easily fixable.

Steffy's Wish For Sheila

All Steffy has wanted since the day she took her vows with John 'Finn' Finnegan was for Sheila Carter to just go away. Sure, Finn has told her that he'd shit Sheila out of his life countless times before and never had, but this time he seems to really mean it. After all, she tossed her rings at him on a beach in Monaco and hopped a plane right back to L.A.

Too bad Finn doesn't know that Steffy got falling down drunk on that plane and then fell onto Eric's office couch with Carter. Cause now Steffy vows she will never take those rings off again and believes Finn that Sheila will be cut off for good. Too bad she is keeping a massive, massive secret that absolutely will destroy her marriage and rightfully so.

Carter's Wish For Daphne

Like Deacon, all Carter Walton wants is to be married, as evidenced by how many times he has gotten down on one knee trying to get someone — anyone — to marry him. He finally managed to get Daphne to say 'I do,' so all they wanted was a family after that. When Daphne received her early menopause diagnosis, all Carter wanted was for Daphne to agree to alternative methods.

And now she has. Uh-oh. Just when Carter has learned he is going to get what he wants, he has to keep an adultery secret. And who wants to be that Carter's wish for a baby will bring him two babies with Steffy Forrester? Steffy didn't offer those frozen eggs for nothing.

Katie's Dare

Katie thinks she has it all figured out. Dylan has to be a gold digger with no evidence pointing toward her being a gold digger just because, right? While Katie's attitude toward Dylan makes absolutely no sense, she was sure that Dylan would back off Will the second Katie demanded to meet her mother.

Surely, Dylan wouldn't actually oblige and invite her mother to Los Angeles just because Katie asked her to. Well, of course she did. Now, what is Katie going to do when Darcy Dylan shows up next week? Is she going to bad-mouth this woman's daughter with nothing to bad-mouth her about just because? Probably.

And we just don't get it. If Wyatt and Bill can see the obvious fact that Electra has never done anything but abuse Will and treat him like a possession who has to do exactly as told, then why can't Katie? Electra has given Katie countless reasons to want Electra never near her son again and Dylan has given Katie no reasons. Yet, Katie is acting like it's opposite day. On Friday, Darcy is set to set Katie straight about a few things and we can't wait.

Dylan's Dream?

Melissa Nicole Dylan moved to Los Angeles to make all her free spirit artist dreams come true and that's exactly what seems to be happening for her. She has two great jobs, a few great friends, and now she even has a boyfriend in the dreamy Will Spencer, the boy who all the girls want?

So what if his mother hates you and your former BFF slapped you across the face after wanting to kick you out to live in the streets and eat pizza out of dumpsters? Dylan has a boyfriend now and she couldn't wait to tell her mom all about it. She's not even pregnant, which made the news all the more wonderful.

Now, maybe Katie will finally learn just who the girl who ran down Luna Nozawa really is. And so will we. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Time to find out...
