The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, June 24, sees Brooke demanding answers about Logan's mystery designer while Hope scrambles to protect a secret that could change everything.
Brooke Demands Answers

Brooke ripped into Katie about stealing the spotlight away from Forrester. Katie was tired of being accused of committing theft when the Logan name was hers, and Eric willingly came to her. Brooke wanted to paint a picture of Katie as the bad guy, and even with all of the facts laid out in front of her, she remained delusional.
Brooke didn't believe it was possible to create a line as quickly as Katie did, so once again she demanded to know the identity of the mystery designer. While the women were arguing, Hope was able to successfully slip out of the office to evade being discovered by her mother.
Hope tracked down Deke and told him to show up at Katie's office and reveal himself as her designer. Brooke couldn't know that Hope was the face of the next collection, but they needed to tell Brooke something. If they didn't feed her a shred of information, she was just going to continue to sniff around until she figured it out.
Deke ran into the office, and Katie reluctantly revealed him as the mystery designer. Brooke was left speechless after learning who the designer was. Deke was a far cry from the legendary Eric Forrester, so she wasn't sure what Katie was thinking. She urged her baby sister to be realistic about the outcome of the fashion show because nothing Katie could pull off would come close to rivaling Forrester's upcoming launch.
After Brooke left, Hope returned to explain why she sent Deke in there to expose himself. It was the only way to keep Brooke off the scent about her. They were one day away from announcing to the entire world that the Hope Logan collection was a done deal.
Forrester Lets Its Guard Down

Carter asked everyone if they had learned about Logan's surprise fashion show, and naturally they had. Nobody was concerned about Katie or Logan because they didn't have anything that could rival Eric's return to couture. At least that was what they currently believed.
Everyone at Forrester thought that Brooke would handle things because of the way she stormed out of the office. Things between Brooke and Katie were already unsteady, but this sent them over the edge. Steffy urged everyone to stop discussing Katie and Logan and focus on Eric and couture. They needed this line to be a smashing success, and then it was full speed ahead to the relaunch of Hope for the Future.
Everyone apologized to Zende for sidelining Hope for the Future in the past. They were ready to make some changes, and that started with Zende. Thomas was talented in his own right, but Zende was the heart and soul of that line, and they wanted Zende to lead the collection into the next phase.
Brooke returned to the office and filled everyone in about her face-to-face with Katie. She wasn't worried any longer about Logan's impact because of the identity of the mystery designer. Deke was undeniably talented, but he wasn't Eric Forrester, so talent was only going to get him so far. He was a complete unknown in the industry. To them, since they didn't have all of the facts, this was a sizable gamble.
Brooke was adamant that Katie would fail because of securing Deke as her designer. She took everything Katie had done over the last several months as a personal attack against her. Brooke was a victim of this in her own mind, and nothing was going to change that. She was committed to feeling wronged by her little sister.
Brooke called Hope and found it difficult to believe that she didn't know Deke was the designer. She threw in a dig about Deke being unable to compete against Forrester Creations. The line was going to drop whether Brooke liked it or not, and it was going to be the crowning achievement of Hope Logan's career.
What did you think of Deke being revealed as Logan's mystery designer? Is Brooke underestimating Katie and Hope, or is Forrester right to believe Logan doesn't stand a chance? Let us know in the comments.
